  1. How many footballs did he throw "straight INTO the HANDS of the awaiting DEFENSIVE BACKS"? 1 interception was due to a dropped pass. 3 were due to tip balls at the LOS. So, what, 2 of them were STRAIGHT into bla, bla, bla... Dear GOD I pity ANY rookie QB that lands in Buffalo. Half of this fan base are like rabid dogs.
  2. For all of the Peterman detractors: REMINDER - Bill's QBs do not call their own plays! If there are a lot of PASS plays it is because DENNISON IS CALLING THEM. A good OC would try to protect the kid and give him a chance to get acclimated. Bad weather really calls for a ground game. If we see other than that it will be Dennison trying to protect his own job! Today will be a real test for DENNISON!
  3. Is this a trick question? If someone comes up with a "Great who had 5 INTs" then come the snide remarks about "daring to compare a 5th round pick to great players". example: Tony Romo has had TWO games where he threw 5 INTs and it did not end his career. - Tony Romo not great Bla bla bla... - 2 games with 5 INTs is not the same, bla bla bla... - yeah but he was not with the Bills, Bla bla bla... - Etc. etc. etc., yada yada yada, bla bla bla... The kid will get past this (as did Romo - I know - but Romo is Great...) only fans who live in the world of Madden will be mired in one half of football.
  4. Yeah, like important PLAYOFF games back in the 90s... Jeez some fans live in a fantacy world. Like believeing just playing for the Bills makes you a better player in BAD WEATHER.
  5. Lets not forget WHO kept calling those pass plays!! Dennison hung that poor kid out to dry.
  6. OMG - What the puck is that suppose to mean? Time for your meds, Felicia!
  7. I HATE this feeling when my BALLS are too hard!
  8. So, for all intents and purposes, if Chip Kelly had stayed with the Eagles he would be coaching in the Super Bowl this year? Everyone would like it to be a simple solution - but it is NOT. Coaches are not like wines that get better as they age. I do not hire an employee and then wait some magical 5 year period to decide whether they are a good worker. Once you hire someone, you continually look for signs that this employee will be a contributing member of your workforce. IF you don't know what "signs" to look for that make up a good employee, YOU are the problem not the employee. Perhaps, like Quarterbacks, GOOD coaches come along every so often. Great coaches are a rare find indeed. It is silly to look at coaching longevity and deduct that those "given enough time turn out good" rather than "if you are a GOOD COACH they will hold on to you for YEARS!" Please don't tell me that the only reason Wrecs Ryan failed was because nobody gave him enough time.
  9. Well, for all intents and purposes, all we would really be seeing is just how bad the whole damn team STINKS. Unfortunately, for Peterman, poor decisions made his debut in the NFL a nightmare to live down. Now he gets to sit the bench and relive that **** storm with no real way to work past it. I really have lost all respect for the new coaching staff.
  10. Seriously? So that is the ONLY audition the poor kid gets? DONE? GMAFB
  11. Badlandsmeanie posted this in another thread: It is a great dis-service to not look at the whole picture. Mills was totally ineffective at stopping a pass rush. How on earth do you judge the poor rookie who was thrown to the wolves by a "rookie" coaching staff who somehow can hold their collective heads up while fielding such an inadequate team. Really - no attempt to replace Mills or Ducausse? Are these the folks that we are suppose to trust with "the Process"? GMAB!
  12. BLA_BLA_BLA - SHOW ME THE MONEY!
  13. I have thought many times that "THAT is how you would play if you didn't really want to tackle someone".
  14. WOW - Thanks for that "little Tidbit"! It helps by putting a little perspective on Peterman's experience. I will add that I don't think Tyrod is better at escaping so much as they FEARED Tyrod escaping and that alone gave them a little hesitation.
  15. If McDermott is pleased with the defensive play at this point - He deserves to be FIRED.
  16. Not for nothing - but... When your Rookie QB turns into a turn over machine, When does a GOOD coordinator stop calling PASSING PLAYS?
  17. All things being the same - what kind of final score would there have been in that game IF BUFFALO HAD A DEFENSE?
  18. Funny, no one is hanging any of the problem on Dennison. Who calls the plays for the Offense? Why did Dennison not turn to the ground game just to give the kid a chance to shake the demon? Dennison is very one dimensional. He calls in a play and makes no allowance (audible) to adjust at the LOS if the defense is a vulnerability. Do you really think that McD decided to change QB without input from OC - (McD is a Defensive guy) Dennison wanted the change at QB! Dennison - Dennison - Dennison I wish we had someone else who could call the plays!
  19. Peterman IS the best suited QB on our roster to run Dennison's scheme! I totally believe that the QB switch was at Dennison's urging - that said... Dennison's inflexibility or desparate need caused the debacle in Sundays game. The Peterman we saw on Sunday was not the same guy that came into the Saints game. When the kid had the first interception he got rattled. Instead of an OC who was trying to help the kid by by going back to the run game for a bit, Dennison kept calling passing plays. WHY, WHY, WHY did Dennison not back off and just call run plays for a bit to give the kid a chance to shake it off? We have seen evidence of Dennisons inflexible play calling all season. Dennison NEEDS TO GO!
  20. This is a point I tried to make in another thread. I TOTALLY blame Dennison for this whole shenanigans. I think McD just took the whole decision on his shoulders. What head coach, who is a Defense guy, is going to change QBs without any input from the OC? I think Dennison wanted the change in QB. He felt that Peterman was a better fit. He may not have been wrong. BUT, when things went south, typical Dennison made no adjustments to help the kid lose the demon. Instead of going real conservative (run game) Dennison kept pushing the passing game. Dennison is the sole proprietor of this debacle!
  21. Peterman got a demon in his head and couldn't shake it. With that said, The Nate Peterman who started yesterday was not the same guy who finished the Saints Game. We don't know if the kid will ever be good but I have to fault the coaching. McD said he alone made the decision, but we know he lies in an effort to be the BIG MAN and take on the criticism when it comes. BUT, think about it... McD is a defense guy (we should revisit that at another time). What the hell kind of a coach is going to pull switching the QB in mid season WITHOUT consulting the OFFENSIVE coordinator? McD did not make that decision - he just owned it. DENNISON - I think Dennison thought that inserting a QB that easily fit Dennison's scheme, would go a long way to saving Dennison's job. Only problem was that the QB he wanted struggled right out of the chute. Instead of easing off on the kid, Dennison kept calling passing plays. WHEN DENNISON saw kid struggling he should resorted to a much more conservative play calling until that kid got past it. DENNISON hung this kid out to drive because DENNISON was trying to prove it was not Dennison's play calling that is lame. Dennison should be replaced this off season. - IMO
  22. It is funny! Until two weeks ago, nobody would spend any time talking about the Bills. THEN, because we looked hot to go 6-2, they all started crowing about Taylor as if they all thought he was GREAT. NOW they have egg on their faces. This is more about THEM than it is the Bills.
  23. I really expect that Dennison will start out with enough passes to keep the defense from crowding the LOS. Then he will run Shady. If Shady is having success, they will continue to run the ball and only work in enough passes to keep things opened up for the run game. I do think Peterman will attempt a few endzone shots.
  24. There have already been a number of very good reasons to play Peterman THIS WEEK. Plus look at the schedule, if not here where? ALSO: Who was Tyrod Taylor's Offensive Coordinator last season? If any coach in the NFL knows where TT's weaknesses are - Anthony Lynn knows! McDermott is making Lynn work for money this week.
