NOBODY wants or believes Peterman will be the Bills franchise quarterback, NOBODY!!! Plenty want him to start the season just so we are not risking Josh Allen's health behind an untested offensive line. Many believe Peterman is good enough to be the Bills long term backup QB behind Josh Allen (myself included).

With all due respect, game 3 is the dress rehearsal. Preseason 1 & 2 are try outs/auditions. Maybe we just need to switch to new "Preseason Uniforms"

This puts Mayfield in the same boat as Tyrod! All Mayfield needs to do is learn to read defenses and he will beat out Taylor. It slays me hearing about Tyrod's little attitude against the Bills. I can't even imagine what he is going to feel when Cleveland has him riding the pine.

McCarron holds on to the ball too long. Tyrod could get away with it because he was a MUCH faster runner. The Browns treated McCarron like teams would Tyrod - Make him throw the ball - sack! Allen came in and (yes he was rushed) got the ball out quick. Do THAT a few times and the defense has to back off some. In all fairness Nate Peterman ALSO gets the ball out quicker than McCarron. One more thing - I just re-watched last nights game and I did not see any play that would lead me to believe that AJ could have been hurt or injured. Looked like some fairly routine type sacks. Allen took some brutal sacks though. All that said, our O-Line SUCKS and the only way (other than getting better players) is not giving the defense enough time to attack. IMO

Not only will this temp guy have to have some time to get ready for preseason 4, we still need a third QB for practice.

This is a possibility BUT... I also wondered if the "starters" weren't sort of "phoning" it in - playing not to get hurt.
