Accountability, right now to me, is displaying some degree of football intelligence! Dear Coach, PLEASE, for the love of GOD, say something that will lead me to believe that you have some clue as to why the whole team performed so poorly AND that you may be up to the task of FIXING THE PROBLEM! Up until now you have insisted that we fans "trust the process" (in other words "pay no attention to that coach man behind the curtain") and suspend our critical thinking skills and all we see with our own eyes to buy you unlimited time to field a team. For me -Times Up! In reality, opening day was a TOTAL TEAM FAILURE. Not just offense. Not just defense. Not just special teams. Not just players. This has been a Crisis of Coaching. What is wrong with an NFL coaching staff who had to take forever to "evaluate" personnel? What is wrong with an NFL coaching staff who ALL so totally failed to prepare a team for opening day? What is wrong with an NFL coaching staff who did not recognize weeks ago that this team desperately needed an upgrade in talent at nearly ALL positions. What is wrong with a head coach who would not demand more support from a GM and Owners. BLA BLa BLa... Skeptically Yours, CD1

The Bills did make the playoffs BUT I don't think ANYONE (other than Bills Fans) thought of the Bills (neither then or now) as a legitimate playoff team. Add to that, we are a team who's starting QB has not played one entire game and whose backup QB has never played one snap of a regular season NFL game. PLUS a brand spanking new Offensive Coordinator. Offensive line?? Defense?? Way too many unknown factors to bet on that horse!

This article spoke my heart. The Patriots did not just dominate and outplay the rest of the teams in the league, they did not seem content with just winning. The Patriots were not happy unless they could humiliate the other team is some way. The Patriots are BULLIES. Belicheat never hesitated to run up the score as high as he could, on any team. It got to be that winning became so boring, he needed to attain other "immoral victories". I have Game Pass and love re-watching Patriot loses. I delight at seeing the reactions on the sidelines and in the stands as they drown in defeat. I am hoping that there will be plenty more of them to "re-watch" this year! I can't wait to start popping the popcorn for watching their "grande finale".

Well, to put a positive spin on this, it should be easy to meet or even beat league expectations this year! Yeah! ?

It is much easier to GROW UP when you are no longer in the shadow of parents and older siblings. Personally, I do not want a LB on our team that would need his big brother here to help him feel secure...

HOPEFULLY - Our NEW OC will game plan to avoid THOSE THROWS. DUH - Peterman was a ROOKIE and Tyrod was in his 6th year in NFL - could THAT be the reason???? How many points will we need? - THAT is the big question. How well will our defense perform this year? Will they be able to keep the scores low enough that, even if our offense struggles, we will have a slight chance to stay in the game. If our defense sucks - when do we start talking about the 2019 draft?
