  1. People are already watching it. That's why there's a thread about it on this forum and they have TV deals with the major networks. It's like you're trying to argue against reality and struggling with the fact that there's more than one way to skin a cat.
  2. agreed, same type of player. I think if they let Tremaine walk, they'd have to replace him with someone in the 1st, the only place you'll find the same intangibles, but that's sort of spinning your wheels. Most people here would rather see OL or WR in the 1st, not another defense pick. I don't think 14m per gets it done, but that would be fine with me. He can get 16m per easy.
  3. Love Herbert, but I feel I'm being fairly objective here when I say most NFL GMs would choose Allen to start their franchise.
  4. Cool, but the fact is that they keep coming back. It's happening in real life as we speak. They're going into their 2nd season. Did you know that in real life last year they paid their players and didn't fold? It really happened. And it's the same thing that happened 100 years ago. I guarantee that if you proposed your plan to prospective players of making nothing at first, no one would play for you.
  5. Not sure what your point is here. The fact is that they still paid their players and the NFL eventually became what you see today. This actually happened in reality. And we're watching it happen again.
  6. Don't agree with what? It's a fact that each iteration gets a little better and more stable. When they started, they couldn't make it through a season and were primarily streaming online. Now they're going into their 2nd season and have multiyear deals on major networks. Football in the early 1900s had no product, either. It was a bunch of regional club leagues and they still played their players.
  7. All this talk about "seeing their players" is bologna. To the QB at field level, the background is dark blue, not white. Red is probably easier to identify in general, but it doesn't make much of a difference.
  8. Each iteration of these leagues gets a little better and more stable than the last. It's almost like we're watching the growth of football in the 1940s all over again.
  9. Same, never understood the fascination with sending humans to Mars. We already know humans can't survive there. Sending a human to the moon is different, as it is so close and there are more practical and cost effective goals for what can be done on the moon. Now, theoretically, if they send a probe out and it lands on a planet with a breathable atmosphere and human living conditions, then yeah, send a bunch of humans who are okay with the idea of not coming back. To me that's akin to voyaging across the ocean to the New World back in the day.
  10. Paid and provided for to play football. Seems like a sweet deal
  11. Because football is an outdoor sport and weather doesn't stop you from playing it. Teams are supposed to plan for and overcome the elements. Before domes, it was just the norm.
  12. This. He's always just been a whiner with nothing valuable to add. Seemed like he would be fine to get along with in person if just talking about normal things outside of the Bills. People comparing him to radio hosts like Stern is comparing apples to oranges, IMO. A radio show has a template that's supposed to be funny and provocative, but they make that clear and they differentiate the off-color jokes on their show from the values they actually do promote. It's also like a comedian, like Dave Chapelle on stage. That is not Jerry Sullivan. As far as I know, that's also not the purpose/template for the show, but I could be wrong.
  13. Settle down guys, Wilkins says that just how alpha males are. I totally believe him.
  14. It's a long shot, but I'll say Cook. If the Bills run right at Wilkins and open up some holes in the middle, Cook is going to burst through and slippy-slidey LBs/DBs won't be able to recover fast enough.
  15. It's gotta be something with the wind coming off the water. It felt the same when I lived in Korea and the cold wind coming off the western sea. Just a cold, dense wind.
  16. I tried. It said "You're request could not be sent."
  17. I'd say it's okay to light it pre game as long as Cole Beasley is active
  18. I mean, there's no way it can't be. They have to prepare for it as best they can. It's in the Bills' heads too, albeit to a lesser extent. They have to prepare for it too, but the main difference is that they won't be as shocked by it on game day. There's a lot of false bravado coming from McDaniels and Tua. McDaniels saying they don't even monitor it/think about it and Tua saying it snows in Alabama too. I can't picture McD or Josh saying anything like that. I imagine them just saying "yeah, we're monitoring the weather and will be prepared as best we can."
  19. I'd say they found their competitive edge and started playing complimentary football again
  20. There's gotta be something to this because theoretically great chefs would make awesome burgers, but they're not gonna be working at a burger joint.
  21. I love their debut album. If they played all of those songs, I'd enjoy it I saw an ad for Blink 182 in concert and felt the same. Just play all the songs from Enema of the State and I'd go.
  22. Nothing, it sucks. Props to you for sticking with it. Taking movie recommendations from TBD is an adventure.
