I would think so too, but of course they're not refusing to wear them in camp...... And I think the NFLPA would be in favor of anything that benefitted them monetarily, if the opportunity arose

The pads around the helmet are actually mandatory during camp now. This creates a philosophical dilemma and maybe a possible legal dilemma down the road, one would think, if the NFL is essentially admitting that those pads are needed for safety, why are they not mandatory all the time?

In my opinion, the Bills have zero LBs who can be an impact in the middle. In a normal 4-3, Dodson or Klein could be good, but they're a liability with the extra coverage responsibilities they're given in this defense. If they opted to go with higher upside there, like Bernard or Williams, I'd be fine with living with those growing pains for a while.
