Not sure what this means, I'm just casually discussing the process of getting a warning out. It's something the NWS is responsible for, as far as I know.

They have plenty of indicators now. It's just a matter of paying attention to them. For the NWS basically, if there's potential, they normally put out a watch and then a warning later on when it becomes imminent. I have no idea what the more minute details of that process look like for the Buffalo area, but I'm sure there's multiple points in the process that could fail in getting the info down to locals in their homes and on the street.

I don't hate it, but I agree that it's lame. I would like them to go back to a silhouette of a bison, but one with a more aggressive stance.

The uniform and logo need a complete overhaul. Red, darker blue, and white, with gold as an accent color. This will open up a wider range of alt uniforms if they're going that route, without the need to do a stupid black or grey uniform (I hate those). Red, white, blue, and gold is the classiest color combo (think the American flag with gold trim.)

I don't think he's scared, but that's the narrative that won out in front of the populous of both parties outside the far right. Trump said "anytime, anywhere" and is now saying "only on FOX News on Sept 4th." Fellow Rs are trying to defend his move. Dems on the offensive and Rs on the defensive. That's not where Trump wants to be in the game. He's much better on the offensive. If he keeps putting himself in vulnerable spots where Dems can bait into putting his foot in his mouth, he's going to lose all over again. Should've gone with Ramaswamy. He could out-duel Harris on ABC easily.

It doesn't matter at this point. He played into it. That's the game they can easily beat him at now.

Your point is valid. So, if it's SO predictable, and we obviously don't want it happening here...then why spend so much of your time on social media feeding on hyperbolic reactions and getting all worked up? Just look at this thread. People so easily fall into the same trap and become paranoid. How much time do you spend getting angry vs time spent towards kind, generous, supportive pursuits? I see people spending ALL DAY here just retweeting/copy+pasting nonsense. How much time do they actually get out and engage positively in their own community? Has to be little to none if they have so much time to spend on social media. But with social media/internet, the voice of the social hermit reposting from their bedroom becomes so loud. In the past, they had little to no effect on the world. Now, as a whole, they have a considerable amount. Weird times we live in. Thankfully, the US is in much better shape, structurally speaking, to handle the unrest.

They have a date scheduled, Trump challenges Kamala, she accepts while knowing he's going to try to change the terms, so he then tries to change the terms and Dems can cry "coward." Now he and the rest of the R's look angry and stupid trying to defend that position. Too frickin easy. The same petty ***** that's going to lose him another election. He also goes down to Georgia and makes a fool of himself there attacking his own party. I've been saying all along that Dems play chess while Trump plays checkers and the rest of the R's are helpless to do anything about it. Trump caught them by surprise in 2016, but now they know how to beat him at his own childish games.

That basically is all he needs to do, but he can't. He has to resort to a bunch of petty childish crap. Then other Republicans have to try to defend him, but it's hard not looking stupid while trying to defend this guy.

Trump's falling into the trap Dems have laid out for him once again. He makes it too easy.
