  1. No reason to pick up the flag, but of course they do. Chiefs punt lands at the 5 yard line. THIS bull#### MAKES A DIFFERENCE.
  2. I haven't read the rest of the thread, but apparently Josh Allen did speak up during the players meeting in support of McDermott.
  3. Is Josh wasting his own career if he chooses to stay with the Bills? Also, how are you measuring the career? Solely based on championships? I'm mean, many people still consider Marino one of the best ever.
  4. There are no synonyms or opinions from my end on this. I'm just stating the fact and using the same words you use in order to avoid confusion.
  5. Losing in historical fashion is not something I want to read about right now, Giusseppe!!
  6. There's tension everywhere, honestly. On every team. The only thing I want to know: is it sexual?
  7. Eh, you're trying hard to read into it and spin it a certain way when it's not even necessary. He's the one guy who was clearly 100% supportive by his own free will. I agree that it might be concerning he's the only one who spoke up in that way. But his reaction indicates he's clearly in full support of McDermott. That much is not arguable.
  8. Maybe that is his agenda. But he'll be much more successful in achieving that goal (and the business will profit more) when the team is already derailing/losing. The circumstances dictate when you take your shot. That's all I'm saying.
  9. He clearly didn't have to say anything. No one else has said much of anything. He was objectively 100% supportive by his own free will. It's not arguable for me. Well, everyone has a wrong opinion sometimes.
  10. Hyde was clearly enthusiastic in support. He was the only one we've heard who was considerably enthusiastic.
  11. They published it now because the current climate will foster the most reads and discussion. It's a "kick them while they're down" mentality or maybe more appropriately a "pour gasoline on the fire" mentality, but it's not about derailing the team. It's about getting the most business. You wait until the team is already derailing/losing and the media market is in a frenzy, and then you release the article. Not the other way around.
  12. Having an agenda is not wrong. Everyone has an agenda. An agenda is what drives a person to say what they want to say. You can't deny information if it is legitimate and true. You can say you don't like the spin, but you can't deny the information. From the business aspect of journalism, it's all about timing. It's less about an agenda and more about how much support the article would get in the current climate. No matter what an article is about, part of their goal is to make sure it gets read and discussed by the most people possible. In this case, it's gonna get read and discussed by a lot more people when the Bills are down than when they are up. So, journalists are often sitting on a story they would love to release right away, but they (or their bosses tell them to) sit on it until the time is right.
  13. McD's defense looked better than Frazier's with Jones, Milano, and White in there healthy.
  14. Ramaswamy seems to be running away with this debate. As much as I've liked DeSantis, he's sounding like a sensationalizing blowhard.
  15. That would all be fine and dandy. It's just not reality. A top HC candidate is going to get a contract with the length and guarantees that match the market and their worth. I don't think Pegula minds paying for a top candidate, anyway.
  16. That'd be nice, but I don't think you'd be able to negotiate that from a top candidate. They have more leverage.
  17. Can't wait to watch pure football in the spring. Eh, they'd still be employees of the NFL. It's an organizational problem from the top down. Watch the spring league to see the correct approach to professional officiating.
  18. If they miss the playoffs, things will get dicey. For Terry, the Bills are a business that needs to stay profitable and relevant. Not playing in January affects the bottom line.
  19. You can feel the cold through the screen from that movie. Another one for the OP: 30 Days of Night
  20. -impact-his-jets-contract-heres-a-breakdown/506346/ He has his contract through next year - seriously doubt this is about 'future dealings'. It's about playing to public perception and him staying in the spotlight He's in the spotlight anyway and he does the podcast and media stuff still. He has a contract, but that doesn't mean he can't still be cut. His playing future is not guaranteed at all for the Jets or anyone else. If the perception is that he's an old, injured, washed up QB, that changes the Jets' mindset going forward. That changes the league's mindset on him. The Jets or any other team that needs a QB could bring in a healthy young guy in the off-season if they perceive Rodgers as an old QB who's injury prone and can't heal. This is not about being in the spotlight, it's just about keeping up the perception that Rodgers is not done and he's still the man for the Jets or any other team that enters the mix.
