  1. I think we're just getting better at/putting more emphasis on detecting them. Things do change, though, for sure. We're on a rock that's spinning around a star that's spinning around a galaxy that's spinning around a cluster that's spinning around universe that's spinning.... Things that spin eventually run into other things.
  2. I would. Then I'd ghost her.
  3. Gotta love those jackasses who used 9/11 sympathy to turn a profit... Stupid song written by a huge tool.
  4. So, your serious answer is that a split second after recognizing possible pass interference, Josh Allen just tosses it up for grabs because of the potential for a free play. Just hoping on a 50/50 chance that the yellow laundry gets thrown out. Well, there's no reason he shouldn't do that multiple times a game, then. For a myriad of could-be penalties. You know...as he's dropping back...sees the the DT put his mitt into Mitch Morse's face... "Oo! That's possible 'hands to the face'!!" CHUCKS it into triple coverage! Yeah, this totally makes sense.
  5. Gase is so good at offense, he doesn't need a QB
  6. It depends on when I watch the event. ? Not tough enough. I don't think the Vrabel/Mariota combo is going anywhere.
  7. I'm on the Josh Allen bandwagon. He's the guy. But this is fake news. Allen threw it well before the flag was out. He's gonna make these throws from time to time. He's Brett Favre 2.0. Gotta live with it.
  8. I went back to look at this Sunday night because I was curious. That was 100% a bad throw by Allen. The flag came out after he threw it.
  9. Getchya hot takes here! Fresh off the gridiron! I'm focusing on the AFC with some NFC sprinkled in if it was a cross-conference game. Bills: Josh Allen continues to look like The Guy….The defense looks elite...the team showed a ton of heart….This season is going to be SOOO FUUUNNN!!! Jets: They're phonies. Gase gonna Gase. (Insert Gase crazy eyes image here) Colts: who said they'd fall off a cliff without Luck? They're deceptively dangerous as the offense was productive and the defense peppered Rivers all day. Vinatieri left 10 points on the field. Chargers: They need to find their "Daniel Jones" sooner rather than later. Rivers is still a great QB and the offense hums when he's on, but he's consistently losing that magic bit by bit. Browns: OBJ and his watch. What a goofball. That's a concerning game for the Browns. They looked as much a danger to themselves as to their opponent. If the OLine could perform to their pay level, Mayfield would be all set. Robinson, what are you doing? Kicking people? Really?? Titans: This team can go sit on a tack. I hope they fail always. I loved it when they drafted Mariota because I hated him as a prospect. Rookie WR AJ Brown is the real deal. I think this game was a fluke and they outperformed themselves against a Browns team who's heads were in the wrong place. Chiefs: Watching that offense is just...wow. "Legion of Zoom" is very fitting, with so many home-run hitters ready to explode. Lesean McCoy looks fine. It's gonna be another Chiefs vs Pats****** championship, I think. Jags: This team should be very excited about their potential, as long as Foles stays healthy. What a beautiful throw and catch on the play Foles got injured. Minshew looked fine, too. Marrone's mother was a hamster and his father smelt of elderberries. Dolphins: The fish tank is prepped and ready. Bring in the #1 porpoise. Ravens: How 'bout that Hollywood Brown, eh? Him and Lamar might be a match made in heaven. To my surprise, Lamar looks like a good pocket passer in this game. Let's see…. let's see…I think the TD throw to Boykin was particularly good. Lamar threw him open. What a great QB draft class that might be. Bengals: This team is the Chargers of the AFC North. Every year they look talented, but they're just consistently….meh. John Ross to Dalton: Seahawks: Wilson is an amazing player and he has a fun new toy in DK Metcalf, who's out to prove his draft slide was undeserved. A dynamic duo to keep an eye on. The Clowney acquisition looks like it may pay off as Seattle sacks Dalton 5 times. Pat's******: "We do not ask for your poor, or your hungry. We do not want your tired and sick. It is your corrupt we claim. It is your evil that will be sought by us. With every breath, we shall hunt them down. Each day we will spill their blood, 'til it rains down from the skies. Do not kill. Do not rape. Do not steal. These are principles which every man of every faith can embrace. These are not polite suggestions. These are codes of behavior, and those of you that ignore them will pay the dearest cost." Steelers: Connor is no Bell. JuJu is no Brown. The Steelers are a flimsy curtain blowing carelessly in front of an open window. Texans: they seem like the biggest wasted opportunity in the league right now. Sidelined by bad management. Hopkins and Mercilus are two guys I really wanted in their respective drafts, so I've always been kinda jealous of this team. Saints: Class of the NFC South. I see them easily winning the division as Carolina, TB, and Atlanta all have some major weaknesses. Raiders: Say what you want about Gruden, but he strikes me as the perfect coach for Las Vegas. The Raiders looked fine against a weakish Broncos team. I think they'll be 2nd in their division behind KC. They gave Gruden what, a 10 year contract? I can speculate that they're okay with a slow rebuild. Very slow rebuild. They're more concerned about milking Vegas money. Broncos: Flacco's a QB with one speed. This team needs to find their "Daniel Jones" too. You can't say Elway hasn't tried...but you can say he sucks at it. Go get an outside perspective on QBs, John. The Broncos should have a nice high draft pick.
  10. Fun to watch, although it made me want to face-punch every Jets fan in that stadium
  11. Certainly. Every year we see teams look completely different from week 1 to 2. It's hard to get a great gauge on matchups until a few games have been played. I think it's safe to say Giants receivers and secondary are not good. The Bills can make both their offense and defense one-dimensional. They just need to execute consistently.
  12. Giants are trying to improve culture (the recent surprising cuts like Landon Collins) and the fan base is impatient When does Daniel Jones become the starter? - he's winning over skeptics in media and fan base. Gettleman/Shurmur/Mara say it's Eli's job unless they're out of contention or Eli completely ***** the bed. Joe Marino suggests not putting a rookie QB in against the Bills, Vikings, or Pats. Patricia Traina doesn't seem confident that the Giants will be in the playoff hunt and that Jones will start before the end of the year. Giants have two advantages on offense: Barkley and Engram. Patricia is frustrated at the lack of deep routes for Engram. Thinks they need to do a better job of getting Barkley in space. Thinks Shurmur isn't maximizing Eli's strengths. An underrated strength is the Giants' OLine. Biggest concern- Their secondary is brutal. Cowboys consistently exploited Hamilton and Baker. Giants may not have a pass rush to help out.
  13. Hockenson was the guy I wanted. He seemed like the sure deal. I really didn't care about this draft, though. The biggest part about the draft for the last 20 years, for me, has been the quarterback. Now we had one and I didn't care. I told myself I'm just gonna be happy with whoever they get and trust that they're good. Actually, I'll flip this subject and say the guy I really DIDN'T want was Oliver. Yeah. I didn't like his attitude (at least how it was being portrayed in the media) and I figured he's just a guy riding the wave created by Aaron Donald.
  14. Yeah, maybe tough in Foxboro, but the Bills home game should definitely be close. If not I'd be a little worried.
  15. Yeah, well it just makes sense to be compare the constants for the individual units Per game is a better gauge for how all the units are performing together.
  16. Are we referring to Rachel Bush, as in this Rachel Bush: Just want to make sure we're talking about the same Rachel Bush: I don't want any confusion in the thread.
  17. That guy's establishing a Suh-type reputation for dirty play. Action needs to be taken before someone gets seriously injured.
  18. I can see the Pats going 16-0 Oh well
  19. I'm 100% sold on that guy. Bring him in. Head of security.
  20. Good luck catching Bruce, lol. Unreal. Legend.
  21. Could be a good thread to update weekly. We expect the defense to be one of the top in the league. I do think this trend will continue.
  22. I see Singletary as the James White of the Bills offense. His use is going to completely depend on the matchup and is subject to a very change-of-pace approach. He'll gain equal yardage amounts over ground and through the air. I think it's perfect. I don't see the need to force him into an every-down work horse role right now.
