  1. They've already made it longer than that. The USFL just finished their 2nd season. This partnership only makes them stronger. It was the obvious move, instead of having two leagues compete for the same talent pool and viewers.
  2. It's okay to forgive. And the forgiven should be allowed a platform to testify to others. A person who's successfully climbed out of the valley is uniquely qualified to help others out.
  3. Are you trying to start a Rhode Island vs Rocky Point clam chowder clash in here?
  4. "Rules were meant to be broken...or ignored entirely....or made up on the spot." Pretty sure that's the NFL's official motto.
  5. Only teams with great QBs scare me. It's a QB driven league. Great QBs in the Super Bowl year after year. Buffalo Baltimore KC Philly But I am rooting for 49ers or Detroit from NFC and they'd certainly be a tough out
  6. If they make it about DV, maybe his message there helps someone in the crowd that day who otherwise wouldn't have been exposed to this story. You never know.
  7. Nah. They're a tough team, but Flacco is still a weakness. He's an immobile, old pocket passer. That doesn't get it done in the playoffs unless you're a cerebral cheater like Brady.
  8. Seriously. Sam Bradford represented everything that's wrong with the NFL's over-infatuation with QBs.
  9. It's definitely all relative and the NFL is gonna use the award to shed light on a more remarkable story, as well as the people involved.
  10. He has all the business getting it, which is why he's one of the odds on favorites. It's a comeback story, and the award is all for show and shedding light on the player's story. It makes perfect sense no matter how many times you say it doesn't.
  11. Giving the award to journeyman QBs definitely qualifies as diluting it. Those types of guys do things every year.
  12. A bunch of insecure people That's those fans' problem. ***** them. ***** their couch.
  13. Lol, Flacco and Mayfield are just journeymen QBs. That's fine in years where no one really stood out. But when you have someone who literally died on the field and recovered to play again, that's something special. That's something to be honored. What did guys like Flacco and Mayfield come back TO BE? Still journeymen QBs? Or are they suddenly the franchise? How do you compare coming back from the dead to be part of the team again and coming back from being benched/fired to being a starter again?
  14. If I were the Dolphins, I wouldn't pay Tua. Same if I were the 49ers with Purdy. That's a QB friendly system. The Dolphins can draft another rookie and still surround him with elite weapons, possibly have an even better chance at a SB
  15. It's so true. Ever since Josh got to Buffalo, my desire for the team's success has slowly gone down while my desire to simply enjoy watching has gone up. A Bills win or championship really means nothing to me. My contribution to that accomplishment is ~ 0%. I just want to enjoy watching Josh Allen and this team forever.
  16. 1. McCaffrey 2. Allen 3. Hill 4. Lamar 5. Goff or Lamb
