  1. I've been really impressed with Brown. He's the type of receiver the Bills need to go along with John Brown and Cole Beasely. To your point about Allen: yeah he's still learning, but he's a much better problem to have than Mariota. Allen can take over a game on his own. Mariota's a back-up caliber QB. There's a big difference between them. Right now I'm assuming that Barkley will play, though. It'll be a nice surprise if Allen clears concussion protocol.
  2. I think he's going to be replaced by Andre Roberts anyway...
  3. I think you're going to see the Mariota with PTSD. And when the Bills are done with him, he'll have extra PTSD. Henry, AJ Brown, and Davis have been great, but the Bills have been able to stifle all RBs this year and have one of, if not the best pass defenses in the league. You saw the Jaguars and Colts put the Titans' defense in a bind with their speedy deep threats (Chark and Hilton). Get ready for John Brown and maybe even Robert Foster. 27-10 Bills
  4. I may be wrong, but wouldn't a complete toss-up be Titans (-3)? The home team typically gets 3 points by default
  5. Do you guys remember when I said they shouldn't draft Peterman in the fifth round? I said that he would end up winning over the coaches with his personality, they'd start him, make a stupid hype video for him, and he would embarass the Bills while costing them a couple games. I specifically said Isaiah McKittrick would be a much better pick in the 5th round. So...
  6. The Bills owe Jones and Van Noy some licks. Take care of each other if the league won't. When it comes down to it, though, these guys expect to be hit. It's football and they've been playing their whole lives. The fans whine about hits more than the players do.
  7. That's exactly what he and everyone else is thinking. Comparisons to Favre have been made since 2016. That advice has to sink in sooner rather than later.
  8. Rewatching last year's Bills/Titans game and Allen trying to connect with Kelvin Benjamin and Andre Holmes. It really puts into perspective the improvement on offense.
  9. Well actually, a good amount. This year we've seen Mayfield, Watson, Darnold, Jackson, and also a bunch of veterans make stupid mistakes early on. If you have the time, watching all the games helps put things into perspective. Its hard to do sometimes, but we can't always compare Allen to Mahomes. Not that we shouldn't be disappointed by Allen's mistakes, but we also shouldn't be too surprised or think it's not normal. The kids needs to learn and improve over the course of this year.
  10. One thing I noticed in their two wins is that their opponent's intensity was little-to-none. In week 1, the Browns looked completely surprised, like they thought they would win by just showing up after they got all of that offseason love from the media. This week the Falcons were completely flat. The Colts and the Jaguars were able to handle the Titans and I think the Bills are better than both of those teams. Notably, the Titans were able to stay in the game vs the Colts because of stupid mistakes by the Brissett and the offense. That's the big storyline in Buffalo right now, too. Allen and the O need to limit stupid mistakes.
  11. Love Hyde And between that and his comment to Bellichick about Brady staring down his receiver, you can tell Hyde really dislikes Brady.
  12. And the Bills' offense outgained the Pats' while putting up almost 400 yards. The difference was stupid mistakes and turnovers....(and stupid refs) I'm just saying we can't discredit the offense as a whole for Allen's poor performance. The OP's point is valid for the offense, too
  13. I know, I should've added my own winky face The Chargers always seem to underperform. The constant has been Rivers. I really think they should move on from him. I know it won't happen, but they should trade him for a bunch of picks and use them to get their QB of the future. They should do it sooner rather than later.
  14. I'm surprised Hockenson and AJ Brown are not on this list. Both have been beasts so far and their stats back it up.
  15. Yep. Nice steal in the 3rd. He's outperforming his draft status. Hockenson, Fant, and Knox all look good so far.
  16. Yeah, it was frustrating. The Jets, Giants, Bengals all got pressure on Allen, but he was able to stand in the pocket and deliver. As soon as the Pats got pressure, Allen was scrambling backwards and throwing off his back foot. As another thread pointed out, his footwork was terrible from the get-go. He may have just been too amped up. Playing the champions adds an extra bit of intensity that's harder to control, especially for younger players.
  17. I think he couldn't challenge the Gilmore PI because he had wasted his challenge earlier. Edit: not that it would've mattered because the zebras would've obviously kept the call the same...
  18. It certainly looked like the game was headed towards a Pats' blowout early on. The Bills held the momentum more often than the Pats, but it was like they were stuck in quicksand. They just couldn't quite break free. Instead of figuratively kicking and screaming, Josh Allen just needs to calm down and let his team pull him out of the muck.
  19. Whatever. You read the entire thing and you're better off for it. I think the Chargers and Titans are fool's gold right now. We'll see.
  20. I heard something similar recently about mother nature. As long as there are enough baby birds to live and also enough to feed the raccoons, mother nature is happy. Humans constantly try to separate themselves from that and we want to think we're above it. When we suffer loss, we're no different than the mama bird. When we're fortunate, we're no different than the raccoon. It's a terrible thing to go through. I feel really bad for the White family. After being frustrated about the Bills loss and then reading this, I no longer care about the Bills' loss.
