My wife coaches middle school volleyball and, I kid you not, got an email like that from a parent. Her daughter, who's just learning volleyball and is relegated to the bench, deserves as much playing time as the best players .... No surprise, she got a big fat NO from my wife and subsequently pulled her daughter off the team.

The NFL IS the monopoly. Just like every other major sports league. Dynasties are actually good for the leagues. That's how you gain a global audience and the outskirts of you audience of bandwagon fans: consistent globally recognized brands. Think Lakers, Celtics, Cowboys, Yankees....Manchester United...Barcelona... all those types of big dynasties with big stars for people to idol-worship. If you really want to break up the monopoly, you have to support the other leagues, like the UFL (USFL/XFL)

I'm all for just 2 conferences, no divisions. The rivalries would still happen. But you'd have more diverse schedules. It'd be awesome.

Brady did a great job. I like how the offense is more balanced under him. He also seems like he's willing to adjust when things aren't working. The Bills became a more complete team when they made the change at OC and it allowed them to get into the playoffs. They should draft a big possession WR to stick outside opposite Diggs and keep this going.

Bills fans did not bring the noise. I commented on it in the game thread. That place sounded mediocre. Not like in past games.

The complete configuration of a player will bare itself out if that player gets season MVP, then SB MVP other some other award. I know the results almost never happen this way, but a player could theoretically get season MVP and his team barely misses the playoffs. Or his team loses in the first round. All players get to be included in the MVP consideration. For that reason, you can't put any weight on the playoffs because not everyone gets there.

Depends on where the INTs are at. I think KC this time around will have a tough time moving the ball and scoring in the red zone. If Josh throws three INTs, but they're all on KC's end, the Bills could still win.
