  1. That doesn't seem so daunting. Adequate tie breaker scenarios would still exist.
  2. So, you aren't what your record says you are? Even if we accept that, this can be fixed by getting rid of divisions, not playing the same teams twice and further equalizing the schedules across the conference. I think that would be a good move, but NFL execs are a long way from agreeing to that.
  3. I guess I misinterpreted that post. To your actual point though, your argument is based on the rule. Rules can simply be changed. There's parity in this league, so of course a lesser team still has a chance for a playoff victory. The rule currently allows a more deserving team to miss that playoff opportunity, which is a bit of a problem.
  4. They're treating it like the world cup where you get representation from all regions/leagues, but the NFL is one region and one league. Just have two conferences and you'll still have classic intra-conference rivalries plus the overarching inter-conference rivalry. Not me. Underdog stories will still happen, either way.
  5. They could do away with divisions, for all I care. Equalize the schedules even more and the best records go to the playoffs. Part of it is the NFL wanting to preserve classic rivalries, but that's dinosaur thinking.
  6. Diggs does that to a good number of corners early in the game. Whether you win early or later, the mental game starts at the first snap.
  7. Seems unlikely, but is there any way Allen beats Rivers and Roethlisberger for the AFC and then beats Rodgers in the SB? That'd be cool. Like old generation to new.
  8. Motor and Moss had a lot of success last time they faced the Phins. Even if Allen takes it easy, maybe the running game could control the contest.
  9. Uh....no? Fred Jackson could close out a game...even without fresh legs....in the rare instances they needed to close out a game, that is.
  10. Continuity would be good and it seems like Josh has a significant input, sometimes even calling his own shots. That might require landing the right external hire or just promoting one of the current assistants. I think there will be a few good options, though.
  11. Just like scrolling through posts on TBD. Doesn't mean you have to feed the troll.
  12. The Bills have been great in crunch time, have the most clutch QB, and are built to come back. The Ravens were never built to come back. If they can't get a fast lead and then pound you into the ground, they usually struggle.
  13. The Dolphins will lose. Fitz will immediately walk over to the Bills sideline and put on a Bills jersey.
  14. $820 a piece for his number and the 0 love he gets. Let's do it, Bills Mafia #billsmafia
  15. All the Stidham talk has been dumb to me, honestly. The guy's not a rookie. The Pats know exactly what they have in him. They didn't need to play him, except for the sake of showing mercy to Cam.
  16. Meh... You're going to both extremes here in the same sentence. Griese won't be apologizing for anything.
  17. I don't know.... I haven't seen anyone mention it. Hold on....let me get out from under this rock.... Oh...yep....there it is. It's actually been discussed ten thousand times.
  18. Prayers up for Duke Williams and family. Sending love their way. Horrible. Tragic.
  19. I'm not saying it's a great year, but definitely underrated. People act like 2020's been the worst year of all time. Not even close. It's ending strong.
