The issue they had initially was pass protection. I think the main fix was adjusting their blocking scheme. They probably adjusted their routes too, but Allen actually completed his first 3 or 4 passes without issue. WRs weren't having trouble getting open. However, Miami brought effective pressure at opportune times on those first few drives. Someone shared posts from an analyst who broke down the protection adjustments. I'm not sure where to find it now.

With the team popularity skyrocketing, I wouldn't be surprised if we see a significant uniform update in the next 2 years. Also, the helmet color rule is changing next year.

The biggest piece that's missing from the career football analyst's formula: they don't follow the team. Like he says in the article, all the "data points" (not just stats, but also circumstances) pointed to Allen being a failure. But career football analysts have their vision clouded as they look at those data points for all players around the league. This is what separates football from other major sports, in my opinion: the intangibles and team aspect factor in to the results to a much higher degree. Anyone who chose to focus in on Allen saw those intangibles early on in the first two seasons, which some career analysts did...and some of them DID change their mind. I hated the pick, but I follow the Bills closely and it only took one season for me to say "wow, this kid's got it."

Based on the way KC has played the last few weeks, yeah. Buffalo and GB are playing better football. KC is still winning, though. They set a high standard.

I love the way he says "....even an MVP-caliber quarterback, like Josh Allen...." in mid sentence so naturally and casually, like he didn't even need to think about it. The Bills have that guy under center. Just your regular MVP-caliber guy. He's one of those names now. Hopefully forever.

These guys are his clients, so he's gonna talk them up, but I still agree. Josh is a true superstar, based on the Dawkins definition 😄 The sky is the limit.

They changed coaches the year after. Kingsbury wasn't invested in Josh Rosen. Looks like the right call, but still....not the same situation.
