  1. Ross Cockrell's sister just qualified for the final in 400m hurdles.
  2. My family goes crazy over the swimming. I personally love the track events.
  3. I just happen to be listening to Diggs praise Davis right now. A replay of his PC on the NFL app. It really just comes down to Davis' route running and learning all other nuances of the game. Diggs told him he has a ton of football left to play. I bet Davis is hungry to not let Diggs down. I'm really confident he becomes a bona-fide starter.
  4. I feel like this was obvious once Sanders was brought in. Not that Davis' role would be diminished, but it's not like he all of a sudden acquired the Brown/Sanders skill set.
  5. I guess he could've said Matt Ryan. That's the only other guy from the same mold as Brady with more passing yards than Cousins.
  6. The individual stories have been at the forefront as long as I can remember. It's both inspiring stories combined with national pride. This Olympics has been no different for me. There is tons of national pride being displayed.
  7. Seriously, I feel like it needs to be investigated. It just seems crazy. Although, based on that other thread about public cost, SoFi was all private funds.
  8. The most I'm taking away from this at this point is that it's likely the stadium cost will be relatively low compared to the increasing costs of building a stadium. Below average.
  9. Nope. I'm pretty sure SoFi blew everyone out of water. Like, comically so. 1.5 would be closer to the average for the recent new ones. Edit: SoFi - 5.5 bil Allegiant (Raiders) - 1.9 bil
  10. I'm not. I'm rooting for USA in everything.
  11. Yeah....it's boring. You really have to get interested in the 2nd and 3rd string battles at this point.
  12. I think he's off on his reasoning. Harry could be struggling to make the roster, but it's not because of Zimmer. And interior pass rush was not Harry's primary contribution. He was putting on weight last year and became a more stout run defender. We're continuing to see the evolution of Harry this year. I bet thy keep him around at least another year as Star is getting older.
  13. I guess that was my personal narrative then 😄 I confidently predicted 12-4 before the season. This year they have the Chiefs, Titans, Bucs, and Colts who should all be tough (barring the Colts QB situation) and the division is more open with Gase gone, Tua in his 2nd year, and the Pats getting some key players back, as well as having another year to adjust to post-Brady life. Then you gotta anticipate some other surprises like the Jags and Redskins who may both be better than people think. Not to mention the Steelers and Saints who are always tough, too. I'm more worried about this schedule than I was last year. I'll predict a less confident 13-4 but I can easily see us losing 2 more games than last year.
  14. Not saying you're wrong about us knowing. We certainly don't know until the games start getting played. But I recall last year the schedule was projected to be easy, not hard. The pre-season narrative was that the Bills playoff chances were good because of the schedule. The NFCW was the only real concern besides KC.
  15. The comparison to Baltimore is an important one. The Bills' schedule is tougher this year and teams will be adjusting to their offense. It's no longer a question about how Daboll/Allen can improve, but rather how they can adjust and evolve from season to season. Matt Breida of under-the-radar importance.
  16. Rapinoe didn't want to give any credit to Canada in her interview immediately after the match. She said "Obviously, we don't want to lose to Canada. I've never lost to Canada." Clearly indicating how little she thought of them. All she talked about was the US mistakes.
  17. I did not know that about Griffin. That's funny.
  18. Being so super tough and dedicated to a craft that you become the best in the world at it. It's a toxic attitude.
  19. I think you're talking about two different scenarios here, owning vs leasing, either of which could still be negotiated at this stage. In fact, the initial rumors sound like a leasing scenario where the Pegulas don't own the stadium. That's why they're pushing for a high percentage of public funding, as I understand it.
