  1. It won't when he's staring down the Bills DL and White is covering Davis 👍
  2. For reference Nah....they still do. That's the rule to a T. Unfortunate, but it's an overprotective rule by design.
  3. Definitely a penalty by the rule, but it's not a dirty play and I'd be coaching the guys to make that hit all day.
  4. True. I think he can still be tricked into plenty of INTs his first year, at least.
  5. Is that a quote from today or last week? Very Tua-esque...
  6. Headline of the game for me: Bills Dominate in the Trenches on their Way to a Blow-out Victory Over Da Bears
  7. I feel like Darrell Johnson is securing his spot as the final DL.
  8. I don't think it's a dumb rule, but I still like the hit. Make that hit all day, take the penalty, but get in the QB's head (figuratively 😄)
  9. He obviously dropped that INT. How does the ref who's right next to the play not call it dead? You're just risking another injury on the return.
  10. Facemask-to-facemask is the same thing.... you can't hit the head on a QB in the pocket. That's been the rule for years now.
  11. I have a much bigger problem with the way they called Basham's roughing penalty last week. It wasn't late or helmet-to-helmet. This was clear helmet to helmet.
  12. If they're open, the coaches are going to see that on the tape. It's not going to hurt them THAT much.
  13. We can't determine that without the all-22 or replay. It just doesn't look like he's panicking.
  14. I definitely see that as a positive for Fields. Just shows he's staying calm and taking what he's given.
  15. I always say let the incumbent fail first. In this case Dalton was already named the starter. Let him fail so that there's no controversy when you start the rookie. Then there's no 2nd guessing from the rest of the FO/ownership and (least importantly) fans.
  16. The halftime show lady made a good argument for starting Dalton the first game. They face Aaron Donald and Co. Dalton will be the sacrificial lamb...
  17. That's the exact same thing they've been coached to do in camp, too. If the refs want to let that go, it's fine with me, as long as they're consistent with it. But counting on the refs to be consistent is a fool's errand.
  18. Is he? I guess there's that. Just seems replaceable in a year where they seem to want to keep more DL & OL.
