  1. True, but he should be a backup easily. Not fighting for a spot.
  2. Well, when you've got the likes of Zay Jones ahead of you.... Speaking of, he's being interviewed on the sideline and just said "trust the process." He's trying to make his way back to the Bills.
  3. I think the big 330lb, 1-tech, run-stopping specialist is certainly not a high-demand position. Run-stopping hasn't become less important, it's just that the evolution of the game has changed how teams stop the run. If you're run-stopping ability makes a team pass more, that's good. It means you're making them one-dimensional. If you can't stop the pass at all, then that's a whole 'nother problem. I think the Bills would love to force teams to pass and then get after it. They can do that with a high powered offense that puts the opponent in a hole. If they can do it by stopping the run on any given Sunday, then that's icing on the cake.
  4. Surprise cut: Kumerow. He's replaceable as a WR, but this decision would ultimately depend on special teams play. If anyone has shown they can take that role this offseason, then Kumerow may be the odd man out. Surprise 53: Isaiah Johnson, CB, after being cut by the Raiders. Only 25 years old, Johnson has struggled to break into a starting role for the Raiders. As they've recently acquired more CBs in free agency and the draft, Johnson could get let go and be a target for the Bills to potentially improve CB depth. He's also played gunner on ST.
  5. And then you have your "possession" guy, your "slot" guy, your "speed" guy...when any well-rounded WR could be serving any of those rolls on any given play. I don't think Davis has a long way to go. He's a well-rounded receiver and models his game after Larry Fitzgerald. He's going to continue to improve and be one of Josh's most reliable guys for years, IMO.
  6. A lot of people just coming in here to give a summary of what they currently think...that wasn't the question 😄 The doubt in Gabe Davis prior to the pre-season was surprising. The dude was great as a rookie.
  7. Dak doesn't even seem like he wants to play, honestly, watching Hard Knocks
  8. I thought we would see more splash plays from Brieda. Otherwise, this preseason is everything I thought it would be.
  9. It really showed that he trusted Davis to win the 1:1. He can box out CBs better than any of the other WRs. I think he's becoming a true possession receiver.
  10. Houston commercial just said they have the best tailgating in the NFL... 😮
  11. Two Wash players hurt. It's an injury fest. Get out alive!
  12. You don't trade young guys with potential. Those are the types of guys you trade for. If you can't get anything for the vets, fine. It doesn't mean you have to trade the young guys. The one exception is a dime-a-dozen RB.
  13. I feel like the Bills have the same mindset as the Ravens in regards to preseason games. Winning is still a priority.
  14. All of us who don't have the Bills broadcast really appreciate your insight....
  15. Reid's faking an injury just to remind everyone that he has a purpose.
