You're right. I'm on it! -

Yes. All fanbases have the same types of people, just with different facades. -
Not sure how. I watch the replay earlier and Watt was singled up most of the time.

He's the 26th paid DT for yearly salary according to Spotrac. That's close to the median in just DT numbers, but I bet the salary is below average for all, if we're figuring 64 starting DTs.

Well, TJ Watt hasn't been practicing with the team, so I doubt he'd be a key piece to this never-before-seen puzzle Butler has made. They didn't need to double Watt at all last game, so how about they just double him this time and run everything at him.

Free shipping! Just ordered a 3 pack. -
He's one of the best QBs under pressure. As is Roethlisberger. This game's pass defense is less about getting pressure and more so about the back end, where the Bills are strong and Steelers are weak.

Oh good, glad to see you're back on track 😄

Happy NFL Kickoff Day! Cowboys at Bucs 8:20pm NBC

Nope. The commentators, ref in the booth, and replay all confirmed it was a penalty. There would be no controversy if they called it, except for Bucs fans. (See the Rams DPI on the Bills last year in the final seconds. The only people thinking it's controversial are Rams fans.) On the flip side, not calling it creates a controversy for everyone else not a Bucs fan, even Cowboy haters like me. 😁 -
But can we push it towards how terrible Knox is? And then to Ertz? Now that would be a feat. Guys....if we can't stop the run because Star sucks and he's a wimp, and Edmunds sucks, then the Steelers are gonna run all over us get a big lead, so we'll need to pass more and we'll obviously have to rely on Knox at that point, who sucks and can't catch a cold, so Beane's a wizard but he's failed to address tight end and we need Ertz and why isn't a deal done yet???

I think he's being what they wanted him to be: a pass disruptor, clean-up run defender, good communicator, and defensive captain. He doesn't need big DTs in front of him. He needs a pass rush. They'll help him out with a run blitz every once in a while. If he plays at the line, he can be adequate (remember the goal line stuff against the 49ers?) He's not above-and-beyond what they wanted, which I'm sure is partly why they're waiting on a contract extension, but he’s at least what they expected. This year will be huge. The 3 Ds... Rub some dirt on it. Wrap it up in duct tape. Take these drugs. Guaranteed to get you back on the field in no time.

And the same ole posters still want the same ole Edmunds to be some ole 2 down run stopper. You wish Reggie Ragland was still here, don't you...

I think they look at Harry, Zimmer, Oliver, Butler as all versatile enough to man the spot, but none are true 1Ts from what I can tell. They're all 1T/3T (Oliver can play 4T/5T too). Star is the only true 1T who was brought in exclusively for that role.

Ooohhh kaaaayy..... You're comparing two very different players, in different schemes, at different points in their career. How much do you think Vea is going to sign for? Star is like the 25th highest paid DT for average salary. Beane said they considered it, but Wallace's and Jackson's offseason performance convinced them they wouldn't get a better guy off the market at value. Do we really know better? Zimmer would be out of position their too, but they like his versatility.

Something like what Pete Caroll said last year: https://www.syracuse.com/buffalo-bills/2020/11/buffalo-bills-vs-seattle-seahawks-2020-preview-odds-predictions-for-week-9.html "He just does a great job of making things happen for second shots in the passing game and taking off and running. He’s a load to tackle and get down - hard to sack him. He’s really the show,” Carroll said. “When you watch him play you’re gonna see the QB. He’s got a knack about going for it in difficult situations. He likes to go physical and run the ball tough. I think the combination of the throwing game and the good receivers they have, scheme-wise and all that, it makes when you have guys that can make first downs with his legs it makes things really hard.” It's not a dumb question. Any number of answers he gave would be good writing material for a reporter.

Yep. The unwritten rule isn't that the refs will let them play in the last two minutes, it's that the refs will do whatever the ***** they want in the last two minutes. -
I hope so. Ben sucks at play action and has admitted he doesn't like it. If Canada is doing that, then he may not have a good bead on his own players.

That's an excuse. We called it when it happened in real time and players called it on the field. Sometimes it really isn't hard. -

I know. That's what I'm calling lazy. We admit that it's a person (the ref) who has control of that situation and consciously decides to not follow the rules, but then classify it as "luck." A coin toss is luck. If I'm able to control what side it lands on, it's no longer luck. If only the sideline ref can make that call, then we should never see flags flown from refs across the field, but... -

We're the Bills just unlucky in the Houston playoff game that it was called a touchback? -

I think it's lazy to classify it as luck. These are people controlling the situation. Not a coin toss.
