  1. Scoring is the most important stat, hands down. You don't see any outlying mediocre players here like you might with a passing yard stat or completion % stat. Scoring = winning.
  2. Yeah... Beane was like "Go to Texas...the Tiger-Cats...or Toronto!"
  3. You're claiming some big fallacies here. 1. The loudest stadiums by recorded decibel level are open. 2. The greatest QBs in the game right now play in open stadiums. Legacy isn't about stats, it's about sustained winning and championships. Talk about free agents...ask Emmanuel Sanders why he came here. (By the way, he's mostly played in open stadiums because it's all about the QB, not the building) 3. Players really do like playing in the elements. It amps you up and it's fun. Sitting in the elements sucks, but playing in the elements is a blast. Ask Pitt, Seattle, Green Bay, New England, Chicago, KC, SF etc how hard it's been to get free agents. As long as you're a good team with a good QB, it's not hard. The elements is a non factor.
  4. The problem with a retractable roof is that it's overused. Like, if the forecast calls for a chance of light rain they'll still close it. Open roof with overhangs to cover the seats is the best option for football.
  5. Still my favorite stadium, by far. Looks old school, but contains all desired features.
  6. It's gonna look reasonable regardless. You don't need to hope for anything. Unless there's some big contract rule change, like the CBA change I mentioned.
  7. He definitely processed the ball as Thomas ran through his attempted tackle... it was a perfect set-up by Milano 😄
  8. And then Trevor Lawrence...and then the best QB from the 2022 class...and then... It never ends. This is really a worthless conversation. What about all the big deals before Josh's? I guess they look good, too... who cares. The big game-changer was when they went to standardized rookie deals. Remember Sam Bradford getting that huge deal in 2010 and he hadn't even played a game yet? Lol.
  9. Imagine catching a punt...just Imagine it. You're focused on the ball for like 5 long seconds. Your watching it all the way into your hands. Nothing but brown ball and blue sky. Just as the ball gets to you, bright yellow flashes across your vision, smacks the ball with a thud, and bounces away. Whatwasthat?!? Drop.
  10. Like Randy Johnson hitting a bird with the pitch....
  11. That'd be cool, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess it won't happen
  12. "We'll pay 30% and you'll pay 70%....and then you'll pay another 30%." 😉
  13. True story. Beane's a Hokie hater. Got rid of Tyrod, Teller, and Thomas. Next up is Tremaine.
  14. He has to shut down the intermediate middle and cover RBs and slot receivers half his size. It's not often a glamorous role. There's tons of space out there, so a good QB will find spots to fit the ball, while a bad QB still has no chance. I think a good thing to focus on is how we'll both LBs have held up in run defense compared to last year. With the D line playing as well as they have, Milano and Edmunds have had no problem plugging gaps. I think back to that play last week where both of them got to Gaskins in the backfield. The young DEs and Star seem to be having a biggest impact so far.
  15. That's a 45% win percentage vs a 48% win percentage. Not a huge difference. I'm not gonna waste time comparing their rosters and strength of opponents. I don't doubt that Belichick could have improved (and learned how to cheat). Like players, coaches can get better.
  16. Are you counting that play at the end of the 3rd where they would've had a first down, but the receiver dropped it?
  17. He is from Firebaugh Where they grow pistachios Eat his salty nuts
  18. It's like people got worked up for nothing. Weird.
