The Edmunds Report - Week 5, Bills v. Chefs, 10/10/21
LeGOATski replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, Milano is more that kinda guy in this defense anyway as the SLB they ask him to play closer to the line. Edmunds gets more of the intermediate zone or outside zone assignments. On the rare occasion they do ask him to run blitz or man the RB, he does just fine. When they recognize run he'sgap sound. I think he'll always struggle with leverage against stout OLs because of his height. But he's learned to manage those blocks better while keeping his eyes on the RB. -
Big for a rookie in his 5th game.

Rooting for Chargers simply because I've always liked them more.

Penalty Analysis: Bills vs Chiefs
LeGOATski replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't think it's a coin flip, man... (Puts on tin foil hat) I think it's based on the betting line. People gotta stop with this make-up call crap. That's not a thing. It's a joke said by commentators that goes over some people's heads. -

Yep. And I know this may be kind of off-topic, but this is exactly what McDermott refers to when he tells his players to block out the noise. The noise is louder than it's ever been. Like you said, the overreactions get worse week to week. We, as the audience, can do ourselves a favor by being just as steady as the players. With sports or anything else in the news. Or you can be a Beasley and lose yourself in it. -

I agree here, but it hasn't totally been their decision alone. They're catering to their audience. The audience drives their decisions. In this case, KC/Mahomes is obviously what the majority of the audience wants to hear about. I assume the KC market is what brings in more of the money. The same reason we hear so much about the Cowboys, the Dolphins, the NJ teams, etc in the offseason, no matter how good they are. -

He made Mahomes look like Manuel. For that reason alone, he should win.

Seriously. Nothing but hate for this team.

Are Passer Rating and QBR Obsolete?

I assume the rating is reflecting Allen's slow start. The offense has been behind the defense, but slowly improving. The rating will catch up. -
I have a feeling Frazier will be Raiders #1 target
LeGOATski replied to Carbonpoke's topic in The Stadium Wall
I feel like Daboll should go to a team without a QB. He brings Trubisky as the stop-gap and drafts his own QB. Raiders don't make sense. I feel like Frasier should go somewhere with an established QB. Raiders make sense. But goddamn I dont think I would ever want to work for that owner. -
I'm thinking it has to do with his receivers. They lost Davis in the offseason and hasn't Brown been injured? So part of it is not having those big easy targets, which may cause him to hold the ball longer. I don't know if this is supported by any advanced stats. I'm just spitballing. I remember it every time the Bills face them. I hate the Titans as much as the Cowboys and Pats. Not just for the forward lateral, but because they're owner was a POS. I don't like Vrabel either. Just not much to like about that org.

Yep I don't like that idea. They let Henry roll over them, then the Titans will control the clock and also beat up the Bills physically. They should absolutely stop Henry and stop the big play. Let Tannehil try to dink and dunk. In that regard, I honestly think Milano was more important for this game than for the Chefs game. Never bought into the narrative that he was super important for the Chefs.
