  1. You want the deaths to triple? These immature boys playing soldier are no help. This is a classic example of that. I don't think Kyle should go to jail for murder, but his whole group of "Proud Boys" instigated a mob and he, being an untrained immature child, ended up killing people. These are the opposite of heroes or honorable soldiers. Just wannabes.
  2. If you listen, you won't hear just cliches. This is how mischaracterizations are formed, I guess...
  3. I thought he was knocked out at the same time. He immediately lost the ball. I found this site and they only list the ankle: https://www.draftsharks.com/fantasy/injury-history/zack-moss/10498 No other concussions, so that's good. It does say his durability is a 1 out of 5... 😬 Not sure how they come up with that score. Not even a 2 or 3? Lol
  4. How many concussions is this now for Moss? He was knocked out of the playoffs with one last year, too.
  5. He sounds the same as always. The overall tone of PCs after a loss is more dim, but I think it's an overreaction to act like the coach is "beat down." To me, that's just fan speak.
  6. Maybe I'm wrong, but I wouldn't characterize this as "shooting from the hip." That means aimless, uncalculated. This is the opposite of that.
  7. He absolutely got his sprain on that play. He went down with the injury. Got evaluated and maybe a shot or some kind of pain killer, Idk, and then re-aggravated it later. A sprained ankle may not affect the player immediately. Hell, I fractured my ankle trail running, but didn't know it until the next day. I was only half way through my run when it happened and finished my run. It became annoyingly painful later in the day. Then the next day I could barely walk.
  8. Keep everything as vague as possible. The NFL way. FWIW, the letter that McKenzie got definitely came from the NFL, stated he was unvaccinated, and that "The Protocols provide that the NFL may impose discipline on any player..."
  9. I'm not sure why the NFL leaves enforcement up to the teams. I'm confused by that because I thought it was an NFL employee who monitored the teams at their facility, not a team employee. So what happens, the NFL employee gives the team a report of violations and then the team decides how to act on it?
  10. What's that argument? Based on what I've searched, it may only be legal for kids 16+17 yrs old to carry a rifle if they're hunting under adult supervision. That obviously wouldn't hold up in this case. Like others, I think that misdemeanor charge is the only one that sticks. I'm glad all witnesses seemed to tell the truth. Based on the video evidence and witness accounts, this seems like self defense. If that bipolar maniac Rosenbaum hadn't been there, it probably ends differently. You could also say that for Kyle. This kid was certainly failed by his parents. His dad was basically nonexistent, leaving him with a single mother who encouraged Kyle to join the Proud Boys (lol), probably wanting for his best interests to be around some kind of father figure. I'm really interested in how Kyle got separated from his group. It seems like the rest of the Proud Boys managed to stay back (in front or on top of whatever buildings they were monitoring), but somehow Kyle found himself in the middle of the mob. What the heck was he doing? It's a real grey area.

  12. They pay for the stats, if anything. They're not relying on PFF to grade their players.
  13. Someone's connecting dots ovah heah...
  14. 68.5 or something like that. Just from listening to the pod. I haven't checked PFF myself. They have a good database of stats, but for the life me I don't know why anyone would trust their grades or analysis.
  15. Not sure if it's been linked yet, but these were the Super Bowl odds after week 9 last year.... https://www.mytopsportsbooks.com/nfl/picks/updated-super-bowl-odds-after-saints-embarrass-the-bucs-in-week-9/
  16. In response to the PFF thing, he just laughed and said he didn't know what to make of it. I think the argument against coaching is 1. the development of the interior+RT and 2. the overall cohesiveness of the unit. They've gotten some great play out of these guys in spurts like you mentioned, but mostly it's the tackles and center making up for the poor play of the guards. They've stuck so many different guys around Dawkins and Morse, but never get any consistency there. There was one play early in the Jax game where the 3 guys on the right side all blocked the same IDL and no one blocked the DE. Communication has always been a problem with these guys and that's all on coaching. There's that story about Feliciano purposefully losing weight in the offseason and wanting to play faster, but it's been no help at all. It looks like DTs can simply lift him out of the way. Is that on coaching? Obviously they've gotten nothing out of Ford. Williams was a tried and true FA veteran and he's been as expected. Spencer Brown has come in as a rookie and done everything he was known for in college. It'll be interesting if his play improves at all under Johnson. Dawkins' struggles I assume are mostly related to covid. Like others have said, it takes a while to recover. Cardio issues are a huge detriment. I don't think Beane has a problem finding talented players, but they need coaches that'll turn them into a cohesive unit and build an identity. I think you mentioned the Pats' long-time OL coach earlier. Let's try to find that type of guy. Let's find our Mike Munchak, Joe D'Allessandris, Aaron Kromer (without the mental issues, lol)... I'd feel much better about the futures of their young OLs with a good coach in place.
  17. I think it's the proliferation of online gambling sites/apps and NFL partnerships. That's certainly drawn more attention to it for me. Gambling has always been a thing, but the NFL so publicly embracing the gambling industry is a new thing.
  18. I just heard on the Locked On Bills podcast that PFF graded Cody Ford the best Olineman in the game. 2nd best offensive player overall. LOL Regarding coaching vs talent, I expect Bobby Johnson to be shown the door sooner than later. The OP nicely layed out the series of events surrounding this line. After spending 3 years acquiring all sorts of players for this unit, their next move is to acquire a different coach. That's not to say the talent is adequate. They've definitely missed on their evaluation of the interior line. But maybe a new coach/new personnel guy can help out with that. He says the staff has miscalculated the talent of this line, and not honest with themselves. That's sort off calling out their OL coach and personnel guys in an indirect way...

  20. With NFL gambling ratcheting up, I don't put it past them. It's bad for the sport.
