  1. Find the right balance. I don't think that means just reversing their snap counts, but Josh and the running game are served well by Davis in some situations moreso than Sanders. Davis blocks well and he's the one guy Josh has (not including Knox at TE) who can consistently body up a DB in a 1:1 matchup. If the game is going the way the Bills want it to, the series of events goes something like this: The Bills are running the ball effectively > Davis is out there more often to block > the defense is cheating up more to stop the run > Davis is 1:1 down the field
  2. Is it? There are probably legal implications with this guy's death and his parents' actions prior to his death...after his girlfriend's death.... Probably best to let the lawyer speak....
  3. If Breida is transforming anything, it's how the Bills approach drafting a RB. Take guys with high RAS (super athletic) in the later rounds. I don't get it. The 49ers are 7th in rushing TDs. Bills are 9th.
  4. It's not rare at all. He does it every game. For all of his faults, I do appreciate Singletary's grit when taking on tacklers.
  5. The refs don't seem to consider the spirit of the rules anymore. Overall, I was happy with that crew though. They mostly let the players play and it was a smooth game. I wouldn't have minded an extra roughing the passer call for Allen....
  6. Yeah, I don't want to end up like that. Might as well bike and swim instead. I'm still young. I've done 1 marathon and 3 half marathons. I probably wouldn't even do a half now. 10K at the most.
  7. This is where I'm at. I used to run a lot, but biking is so much more fun.
  8. If you don't already listen to Marc Maron's WTF podcast, you should listen to a recent episode he did on the history of cancel culture in regards to comedy. It provides great historical context on this issue.
  9. They do different things out of the same look. That's more confusing to the opponent than changing looks. In the NFL it more about disguising your intentions and simply out-executing, right?
  10. Thank you. Larry David is my spirit animal.
  11. Great point about KR/PR. I mean Andre Roberts didn't torch anyone for TDs, but he was super solid and consistently gave them good field position. I really miss him.
  12. Because it eliminates the elements. It's sterile. How many great teams have been playing in open air? - Pats - Chefs - Packers - Pitt - Seahawks - Titans - 49ers - Bucs - Broncos - Ravens Then who do you have under roofs? - Saints - Rams - Falcons? - Colts? - Texans? - Cardinals? I'm just trying to name all the real contenders over the last couple decades... Roof vs open doesn't matter. It's about the players and coaches. So let's stop trying to sterilize the game. Just build a great team. Weather elements are a basic part, a classic part of football. I don't want to lose that.
  13. I've been asking for Philip Lindsey for the last 3 years....it feels too late now.
  14. Why do we pick and choose what questionable media entities say in support of our team? Steven A...PFF...that Nick guy with the big nose....etc Just stick with the ones that are consistent and ignore the rest.
  15. Maybe, maybe not. You don't know. The question was "how could it hurt at this point?" The team is 6-4 and still fighting for the division. It's not like they're already out of the playoffs. So, it COULD actually hurt. McKenzie and Kumerow have been just okay. Would Stevenson have beaten either of them for the job? We don't know if he's gonna be better or worse. He could make a crucial mistake that DOES hurt them. The answer is that it could definitely hurt at this point. He'd be taking a spot in a position group that has been the least of their problems. You don't fix the team by fixing what doesn't need to be fixed. Realistically, I'm sure they have some specific packages for him and maybe want to give him some ST oopportunities. But we can't act like they have nothing to lost at this point. They still have a lot to lose.
  16. Because the WR position has been the least of their problems.
  17. Great write-up, as always. Stop trying to sterilize the game with the roof crap, though. I think it's mostly mental. There were plays to be made out there (and like you said, penalties to NOT be made). They just dropped the ball, literally. It seems like they need to rediscover what makes them tick as a team. They don't seem to have any fuel in the tank right now.
  18. I'm guessing the fire is in the locker room. Coaches that yell at the media in order to "send a message" generally don't do well.
  19. Bills - 37 Colts - 24 Frank Reich says "why not us?" McDermott says "because us."
  20. I try to read the actual articles because we all know how worthless titles can be. The article presented a different situation, so that's why I asked.
