  1. Someone told me that domes increase crowd noise....
  2. Okay, Mr. Joe Fan on the message board... It's easy to sit here and say that they "should've been more aggressive." They're doing what they're trained to do. Levi played that pass exactly how he's coached to play it. Diggs is taking the steps necessary to get to the ball exactly how he's trained to do it. You can't expect him to turn into Megatron during the play. It happens extremely fast and everything is so instinctual. What we should expect is the refs to call a consistent game.
  3. Cardinals probably win, but it should be close. Sean McVay seems to have their number.
  4. Nice write-up as always. This is the most puzzling thing to me. Where is the offensive creativity and the go-to plays we saw last year? I agree that it feels like we're back in the drought where there's no hope of converting a 3rd and long or even get 3 yards. I think McDermott's decision to punt on 4th and 3 reflects the same lack of faith we fans feel in Daboll to call a solid play and the players to execute. On the pass rush, I fully expected nothing to happen there. Pass blocking is their strength and Brady's ability to get the ball out in 2.3 seconds means he rarely gets sacked.
  5. Ugh.... if any positive is taken from this loss, hopefully it's that the Bills found their pulse and can go on a winning streak. Only time will tell, though. It's not a positive yet.
  6. Who knows, but I think he's been on the bandwagon all year and hasn't hopped off.
  7. Back in the 80s, Milli Vanilli changed Teef's life. True story.
  8. The NFL isn't rigging its own games. If you find any such manipulation in the league, it will be at the individual level. I do think the officiating is a ***** show and that whole group is definitely vulnerable to gambling manipulation.
  9. If we're going to oversimplify it.... Pass. The answer is with their best players (QB & receivers), not their worst players (RBs & OL)
  10. She's got some good numbers on her, I'll give her that.
  11. I like listening to the commentators wonder why the NFL doesn't put chips in the balls for easy spotting... This league takes so long to progress with technology. They want these technological palaces to play the game in, but insist on continuing to use the chain gang and note cards to check for first downs....
  12. Imagine a flamboyant McDermott on the sidelines yelling at the team. That'd be hilarious.
  13. I'm a big proponent of the RAS grade for RBs. It seems widely accepted by the NFL (including this regime) that RBs are a dime a dozen. So use later round picks, but make em guys with high RAS. 49ers did that with Sermon and Mitchell this year. Use the high picks for the lines, quality linemen are harder to come by.
  14. I believe he already calls his own plays at times. We wouldn't know unless he specifically said so in an interview, but it's just what I believe. He knows the offense well enough at this point.
  15. Yes. This isn't the drought era Bills with entire draft classes failing out I'm 3 years. The misses are going to happen. The running issues are on BOTH the line and the backs. We all saw Moss miss what looked like a TD when all he had to do was cut it outside. That's a simple read. These guys just aren't good. I'd activate AW if I were them, but still start Breida or Singletary.
  16. It would be sweet if the run starts with a win over defending-champs Brady and co.
