  1. Yellowstone/Grand Tetons is the most beautiful place I've been to in the states so far. San Diego and that whole area of the Cali coast, you get a lot of bang for your buck: beach life, city life, hiking, you name it. Sedona is also wonderful, but I live close by so I've been there so many times.
  2. The last guy to go rogue was Doug Whaley. Hopefully this turns out better.
  3. "And, of course, there was the now-ridiculous-sounding idea that the loss had broken the Bills. Looking at it now, that was probably always ridiculous, given that the Bills have been really good in four of five years under McDermott and Beane, and the one downturn came with Josh Allen as a rookie in 2018, which was also the year the team ripped off financial Band-Aids put on by the previous regime to keep the roster together. With that track record, there’s real proof that these Bills have staying power." You think?? It takes being proven wrong for the media to magically get a sense of the bigger picture. We need to have one big intervention meeting in order to rid the media of its addiction to weekly hot takes.
  4. The OP meant he let him get the outside edge at the snap. I don't think he knew the play was going outside. If he did know, then it was really poor footwork.
  5. Probably Trubisky's worst game as a pro...
  6. Josh has the option to either hand it off or keep it based on the look the defense gives pre-snap. As soon as the Pats LBs step up to the A gaps just before the snap Josh knows he can keep it. They put numbers inside, so Josh ran it outside. I thought it was a nice return-of-the-favor after NE gashed the Bills multiple times to the outside on one of their early drives.
  7. They just need to be on a 4 game win streak heading into the playoffs. That's all. It's comforting to know that they're playing their best football heading into the postseason. McD seems to get them right for the playoffs.
  8. Opportunities are not equal at this time, but I don't think it's necessarily a racial thing. It's a class thing. Always has been. What amounts to a bunny hill for one class, the same thing amounts to Mt Everest for another class. Generations of racial minorities circumstantially exist in the lower class. How do you ensure that these opportunities even out? That's extremely hard to do.
  9. Follow the rules and go by what the test result says. If I blamed anyone, it would be the NFL for these weird rules. Should've been testing everyone daily, regardless of vax status, from the start.
  10. I agree that equity is wrong in the way you define it under this context. However, I don't think that's the right way to look at it. I think of equity as ensuring the same opportunities and equality as ensuring those opportunities are genuine. Think of it in terms of the NFL's Rooney Rule 1. being implemented (equity) and 2. being executed correctly and with integrity (equality). Equity is not the same as paying reparations as long as it's focused on the future and not the past. Ensuring equality is just a matter of time, IMO. I think the right processes are mostly in place.
  11. Seriously. If their plan is to depend on Book being an actual quarterback, then they already lost.
  12. Here comes the obligatory "the QB needs to have a short memory" comment....
  13. Could've easily been called helmet-to-helmet on the QB. They're so inconsistent with these calls.
  14. I thought that if the Dolphins win out, the Pats would likely be out of the playoffs.
  15. Probably, but the organization won't last like that in reality. Owner, coaches, players, fans would get frustrated. They need to find a franchise QB unless Jones becomes one.
  16. He's a troll posing as a sports writer. Waiting to attack the Bills from under the bridge. Like a lot of people on this board, he only speaks up and tries to get attention when the team loses. Look at the other end of the spectrum, guys who've made names for themselves while being positive. It doesn't mean you can't be critical. It just means don't be an #######. He's honestly proud of that, which tells you all you need to know about him as a writer.
  17. Not really. If he "always balled out," then he would essentially be Cole Beasley. He'd be considered one of the best slot WRs in the NFL. He doesn't always ball out. I love his potential and the dynamic he brings to the offense, but he is inconsistent. I'm not writing him off. He's just hitting his prime now. But they still have to look at other options with Beasley's Bills future in question. I think this is part of the "Allen for MVP" media campaign tour. They gushed about him on Sunday Night Football, too. Maybe it's just NBC that loves him. But if he is phenomenal over these last two games, then I imagine other outlets jumping on board and Josh will be up there with Rodgers/Mahomes/Brady in MVP votes.
  18. He should've simply said "I'm asymptomatic." I don't feel good about the future slot WR position either way. McKenzie can play great at times, but he’s not consistent. They should be looking for new options this offseason.
  19. He's a great leader. You could tell he was miffed, but he had to dial it in and be positive. McD is the same way; similar demeanors.
  20. I'm not buying that at all. 1. The defense communicates "run" and sometimes even who has the ball while the play is going on and 2. Harris is in Dane's field of vision as the play unfolds. They have to be communicating effectively and Dane has to be more aware so that he's not so easily taken out of the play. If he has tunnel vision on his man, then he has "bad eyes." The play is in front of him like it is for the safety. A receiver running a vertical that turns a DB's eyes away from the play is totally different.
  21. I would say Dane had bad eyes here too. Even though he's following his man, he has to recognize the run and locate the ball. Harris is already coming through the hole as Dane comes across the formation and he is extremely late to react.
  22. I was surprised as hell. He pushed a QB going out of bounds. I thought it was a total gift from the refs and was very thankful.
  23. Gross. I'll take Green Bay, Arizona, San Fran... and literally anyone else before Dallas.
