  1. This is a weird comparison. I think WFT would do it again in a heartbeat, regardless of how Beane reacted. It's just how they're run. Hands down, Beane is a much better leader. I agree with the previous poster, Whaley was a great talent evaluator, but struggled with every other aspect of GMing.
  2. Which one of these top RBs is the best pass blocker? Serious question.
  3. I didn't mind some of the moves he made, but he wasn't as consistent or methodical as Beane. Didn't care for his personality at times, wither. Still seems like a good fit for Pittsburgh. That Hughes trade was righteous.
  4. I don't understand how people can say he's bad, but then expect the Bills to get a high draft pick for him in return. That sounds dumb. The Bills will probably extend him at the right price. He seems like a guy that would take a team friendly deal and prefer staying with the Bills. Playing with Von Miller at end or SLB will be super nice.
  5. I might drop the Bills, but I wouldn't start rooting for another team. It's Bills or nothing. This is an NFL thing as much as it is a Browns thing. They need to do what's good for the league.
  6. He's obviously wondering why Tremaine Edmunds hasn't been traded yet.
  7. Well, I expect an actual charitable donation next time another player's actions results in something vaguely beneficial to the Bills.
  8. I remember my first FOIA request...
  9. This was obvious, but I'm not surprised at all that it's gotten to 6 pages already, lol.
  10. I don't think society is changing that way. Populations continue to grow and condense all around the world. Business centers may be changing in the manner you speak of. Demographics may be change as a result. But cities will always maintain a huge pull factor for social/entertainment/geographical reasons. I think that just means skylines don't change or maybe they continue building up (which is smarter, imo). That typical dystopian image of large high rises is still the future, but hopefully not as depressing. Actively trying to geographically flatten out the population is backwards thinking, imo. We should be growing our "anthills" as a previous poster put it, while protecting and rejuvenating our rural natural spaces.
  11. Can't really consider it lucky when they looked like one of the most complete teams heading into the playoffs. They were built for a long playoff run. I remember a thread in like week 12 asking who we thought were the scariest teams for the Bills to face in the postseason and I voted for the Bengals and Packers. I think the Bengals will be there again. McD/Beane always build this team to win the division first. Then to beat the great QBs in the playoffs. It's never been specifically the Chiefs, but they happened to be that team the past few years.
  12. Kromer scheme? Pretty sure Dorsey and Josh are running the offense, not Mr. Beach Chairs.
  13. Good point. As far as his legacy goes, I don't think it matters much, as long as he won one. Great QBs usually win one or two at most, some not at all. John Elway and Peyton Manning, for instance, will still be considered 2 of the greatest of all time. Rodgers is already discussed as possibly better than them.
  14. I'm 100% sure he'd rather have Adams, but Rodgers has never had a problem making JAGS look great. They'll bring in some decent players for him. Will that get them to the SB? Probably not. But I don't think this surprises Rodgers. It's par for the course in GB.
  15. That wasn't a new concept was it? It seems that every year some team goes all in. It just happened to work out for the Rams. This reminds me of people saying "Josh Allen changed how teams draft QBs" when reality it was the same thing teams have always done. It just happened to work out for the Bills.
  16. At the same time, the need for tall residential buildings seems to be going up. The concept if 'build up, not out' should still be relevant.
  17. Baker should do the Mitch and come backup Josh for cheap. We can do this each year for failed 1st round QBs.
  18. His time has always been limited, but he seems like a player that the Bills would be happy to keep around.
  19. They'll just go back to rooting for the Sox, Bruins, Celts and forgetting the Pats. Ho hum.
  20. Whoever came up with "Von Biller" wins. That's gonna stick.
  21. Ralph 3/16 - For Beane so loved the Bills that he gave them the greatest talent, that whosoever would billieveth in Josh Allen should not lose, but have eternal shots at a Super Bowl. Amen.
  22. We're gonna let him sit for half the year right? Just show up for the playoffs.
