  1. No it's not. Something needs to have the defined elements of entertainment in order to be objectively entertaining. For instance, a football game where both teams score over 20 points, there are 2+ turnovers, and the outcome comes down to the last drive is objectively entertaining, even though it may not be everyone's cup of tea. There are people out there who don't like sports at all who wouldn't be entertained by that, but it is objectively entertaining by any definition of the word. Also, like an action movie with a cast of star actors, high-intensity action sequences, and a soundtrack of popular hits is going to be objectively entertaining by any definition of the word, yet some people will hate it. So you're objectively wrong, but feel free to keep "lol-ing" at your own attempts to steer the conversation towards pointless semantics.
  2. It's overblown. This is like saying "don't wear red in Crip territory!!" as if any Joe Schmoe is gonna get jumped for that alone. If you're an obvious outsider/tourist, they don't give a ***** about you. Tourists have been traveling to Brazil for decades.
  3. Explain how that was used incorrectly.
  4. What constitutes entertainment? Plenty of these games are objectively entertaining. Where does that entertainment stem from? If you're a football fan that can be entertained by a Kansas St vs BYU game, for instance, it's not hard to be entertained by the UFL. If you need star players in order to be entertained, then it's not for you.
  5. That's a natural struggle for a new league. If (and that's a big if) it lasts, some can say they watched from the beginning while others can say they only started watching after it got popular.
  6. It's like 1 in 4 UFL players land with an NFL team after the season, but most then get cut during preseason. I think only a few have stayed in the NFL since last season. Someone said "I like football as much as the next guy, but I won't watch this league" and I told them "then you literally don't like football as much as the next guy"... Maybe you're thinking about that, Idk. It's funny that some people like to go into the UFL thread just to disparage it, but if you honestly love football why wouldn't you want more football in the off-season?
  7. Those are garbage Hopefully they're just being patient in order to ensure they don't put out hot garbage.
  8. Oy....whatever happens, just don't ***** with my ability to pay $100 and watch condensed replays of every single game anytime I want year round.
  9. "Like man, why are even out here?" Same, Josh. Same....
  10. There are going to be subtle references to the Men In Black franchise throughout our new stadium.
  11. It's not a matter of who but when he will clap
  12. Yeah, for Christ's sakes! I wanna see boilerplate facades of our new restaurant named "Barbeque Barbeque!"
  13. Yeah, at some point he's gotta realize that it takes a little more creativity and intensity to win in the playoffs against the great QBs. With his rigid style, I'm not sure he'll ever do it, but maybe just enough to get lucky.
  14. Uh...McD turned Tyrod Taylor into a Pro Bowl QB.... 😬
  15. Everyone knows that the defense has been the problem in all these playoff losses to KC. I tend to think Andy Reid, being McDermott's original mentor, knows a bit about how to beat McD's defense. I'm not an expert on the X's and O's, but I think McD needs to somehow switch gears in the playoffs. Instead of doing the same predictable stuff that wins regular season games, they gotta switch some things up in order to kick it up a notch.
  16. Agree. I never liked him. One could only hope...
  17. They're going longer every time. That should be obvious. This is the third season for the USFL teams and the XFL only took a break because of McMahon's shenanigans. They've set expectations better than the previous leagues and are following the MLS business model, which has managed to survive and maintain a broadcast presence despite poor national interest. Have no fear, the league will still be here for you to gleefully disparage next year, with FOX even airing games on Friday nights.
  18. Yeah, it seems like a matter of pride. Can't blame him for wanting to be the starter, though.
