You really think they're not going to pay the man? Or He's not going to be holding out for what he's worth? And before you say "well then we'll just trade him for a bunch of picks." You really think someone else is going to trade a 1st round pick for a RB?

6 years is the shelf life of a great RB? That sounds like the shelf life of an average RB at best. Why pick an average RB in the first round? And why pick a player in the first round that you've predetermined you won't sign to a 2nd deal?

I believe he will be. He's a potential answer at S and more immediately at CB. His zone coverage ability and closing speed is perfect for McD's defense. And he's a hood matchup for the particular WRs and TEs in the AFCE.

The real value for Beane is getting the best players possible. Young guys who can realistically make a difference on this Super Bowl-hopeful team.

I hope he announces Dameon Pierce and then does an impromptu Angry Runs segment to his highlights.

Beane has a history of trading up. I think it's very likely.

I don't dislike other teams' players because they're good. It comes down to personality. For instance, I hate Brady because he's a douchebag. So no, I would not hate Josh if he were on another team. I'd still like. He might still be my favorite player, in fact. My favorite players during my 25 years of fandom have often been on other teams.
