    Lol, that's an extreme example. I know people who owe the same as a typical car payment. People who grew up dirt poor with no resources and were trying to get a leg up in the world and now have a fine job, doing very well, and are very responsible. Idk who @malcolm is on Twitter, but he seems emotional and out of touch

    Because the lawyer wants to control what is presented to the Bills and how it's presented. He has no obligation to open his client up to questioning from the organization who employs the defendant. She's contending that he set it up. The complaint seems pretty clear on that.

    Their first interaction was consensual, wasn't it? Even by her account. After that, she's contending that Araiza set up the gang rape, which was obviously not consensual. And to your original point, not that it's entirely relevant, I don't think a punter and a couple backup linemen can get whatever they want.

    The Bills talked to her lawyer, from what I read. I imagine the lawyer would've given them plenty of details. Not sure he would allow them talk to her directly though. Or if she even wanted to. I don't think we can assume too much.

    This seems backwards. But I think it was very disingenuous of Araiza to not make NFL teams aware of this issue during the draft process.

    You seem to be implying that it's not possible for allegations from one side to be proven partially inaccurate in court.

    Why wouldn't the recordings exist? Thanks. Araiza definitely should have told the Bills about the pending complaint. I don't see how that's an admission of guilt, but it is kinda dumb.

    what was that? And so far we have nothing but an account from the accuser, right? Have the SCU detectives/DA released the conversation? Has Araiza laid out his timeline and details of the events?
