    It's a wash, dude. Howard is not that good. I wanted the Bills to draft him originally and was excited to see what he could do with this team, but he did not step it up. And then Josh loves Sweeney. The FO definitely considers his input.

    It's possible that the police dropped the ball. When the civil case and lawsuit came out, it prompted the police and DA to do a little CYA.... All speculation on my part. Or the police simply never had enough for criminal charges.

    Yeah, the lawyer is playing coy on social media saying all they wanted from him was an apology and a monetary donation to charities that support rape victims. Essentially asking him to confess, lol.

    Multiple witnesses said the victim was telling everyone she was 18 and alluding to attending a local college. Then there's no evidence Araiza had anything to do with events after their initial encounter. So, the detectives and DA have to piece all that together and find something worth a criminal conviction.

    Sounds like we're on the same page. All the Bills lawyers needed to do was information gathering.

    and they're completely anonymous... Anonymous: "Oh, yeah. We totally knew!" Reporter: "What did you know?" Anonymous: "Well, nothing really. Also, don't tell anyone it's us."

    From the Bills standpoint, all they're lawyers needed to do was say to the victim's lawyer "give us everything you have." It sounds like the victim's lawyer was happy to provide it all and there would've been no reason to get into a room with them.

    Nope. It's weird. The lawyer would certainly love that because it would hand him the victory in the case.

    Are there any off-field issues with Marquette King or character concerns? If not, I feel like he would be a decent option. The Bills don't need an all-world punter, but this guy at least provides some juice and rah-rah attitude. He can wave jackets around on the sideline with Barkley.

    Hopefully, but the way the plaintiff's lawyer is acting he seems to want to drag the Bills into it, accusing them of negligence and such. I wonder if they file a separate suit against the Bills.
