  1. Hey everybody, I'm writing you today just to point out that the Vikings have beat the Packers 3 out of the last 4 and 8 out of the last 14, with one tie in OT. Sincerely yours, LeGOATski
  2. Small brains just want a LB from 1995.
  3. You're making the opposite point now. This is about money for Lamar. If they offered a billion, he would take it. So, you must completely understand Lamar because this isn't about some loyal "feeling" towards the Ravens, it's about the bottom line. I totally agree and that's my point with Lamar, but people like @Einsteinrag on him for being "selfish."
  4. I'm glad Buffalo has a guy who's content and loyal to the team, but if I was a confidant to Lamar, I could not in good conscience advise him to be loyal to his team if he doesn't honestly feel that way. We don't know his true situation or relationship to the team and staff. There's a huge pie being served to these highly profitable organisations and he should be getting the biggest piece he can. Who are we to judge.
  5. At this level of fame and fortune, what does "selfish" even mean? Where is that line drawn when you have billion $$ organisations throwing around millions left and right?
  6. Jackson's gonna get paid either way. More power to him. I'm sure the Ravens hope he'd want to stick with the team on a realistic deal, but apparently he doesn't give a *****. I have no feelings about it either way. It's just a different mindset than most QBs/agents who approach such a deal.
  7. By all accounts, he's been a fine teammate. Diggs, Davis, and OBJ in the same formation would be great to have. It would have to be the right deal at the right time.
  8. I'm imagining Johnny Lawrence saying this sentence and everyone else around him looking confused.
  9. He called "blue cheese" on one audible/check. I thought that was funny.
  10. yep, I really don't see how Moss provides a significant advantage over Singletary in blocking or pass catching situations.
  11. Singletary did this perfectly on his 2nd or 3rd play, chipped the DE so hard he fell over, and caught the pass for the 1st down. I don't see the advantage and I feel like some of the reasoning people have for Moss is misguided in an attempt to try to find purpose for him. I think the rotation is simply to keep them fresh, like others have stated, but it's overdone by the coaching staff.
  12. Singletary looked great to start the game. I think he got 2 first downs on his first 3 plays. Then he comes out for Moss, who doesn't have the same shiftiness or vision. I guess they believe Moss is the better receiving back? He seems to be in on those plays. Is he though? I don't understand it.
  13. Give me the Cliff's notes Does he have his shirt on?
  14. One of the keys to the Gabe Davis TD play is not to block downfield, right? If anyone blocks more than one yard downfield, it could be a penalty, if I'm not mistaken.
  15. And we also have people posting praise for their good plays Last year there was an all-encompassing Edmunds breakdown thread every week. We need that back, probably. Props to the poster that kept up with that.
  16. I hope you took your hat off at the dinner table.
  17. Why just Edmunds? Go ahead and point out all the bad plays by every other player while you're at it.
  18. The top 10 are: Thurman OJ Josh Cookie Freddy J Carlton Henry Smith Shady McCoy Jack Kemp
  19. There are also plenty of pocket QBs who don't last nearly as long as Brady. Look at the Manning's. Look at Matt Ryan winding down now at only 37. Allen will still be able to throw the ball. He's not just a RB playing QB. Like I said, everything Allen ran was calculated and he was never in an awkward position. The awkward, scarier hits he's taken in the past have come when a play is breaking down or he's trying to avoid sacks. Think the Joey Bosa tackle. QBs get hurt in the pocket. I don't see Allen's career being affected much by normal tackles. As long as he's smart about it, he can run plenty.
  20. Yep. It's Allen being Allen and the OC has no control over that. While I want Allen to be safe, the guy knows what he's doing and his runs get the team fired up. Allen is the leader and he leads by example. I also never thought he was in an awkward position and vulnerable. They were calculated runs. He's not a frail guy, so he can take normal tackles as well as any RB.
