There's a reason Roman is always strapped to this type of QB, though. Kaepernick, Tyrod, Lamar.... It feels like Roman has willingly boxed himself in, so I tend to agree with others that say his ability to develop a passer/passing game is limited.

Nevertheless, it seems significant when discussing OLine play. It seems to suggest that the Bills' RBs do more with what they're given (or rather not given). For this game it will be interesting to see how effective the Chief's run blocking is against the Bills. If it helps the Chiefs control the clock, that's bad news. The Bills run defense has been great this year, though.

And yet the Chiefs have the best run block win percentage in the NFL while the Bills have the worst. There's an interesting dynamic with these two run games, for sure.

I am taking it into account and saying that some fans take it too far.

I think it's an issue when a fan's reaction to a loss is worse than the players'. Or when fans hold onto it longer. Players are the ones actually involved with a real stake in the game; their career. We, as fans, should be able to let go relatively quickly. A win or a loss is not a reflection of our personal lives.

This has been my line of thinking ever since the Bills frustrated Gronk with Tre White. If you can afford to put a guy like Elam on Kelce, I would try that.

Surprised no one has mentioned the USFL yet. They did this with positive results, if I remember correctly. However, kickers didn't like the added/uneven weight of the chips in the balls.

But Singletary has the 2nd most catches on the team. The RB room as a whole has gotten plenty of opportunities in the passing game. I'm not desperate for the Bills to get a new RB, but imagine those catches going to an elite playmaker. There's definitely a case to be made for upgrading the position, but it's more about the passing game. Naysayers keep focusing on the run game.
