    Edmunds isn't going to be asked to play safety or SLB. He's going to be expected to do exactly what he's been doing already. Bernard, Hamlin, and Johnson are the ones needing to step up.

    I don't think he's slower physically, but mentally at this point, being a rookie and all, which is where the struggles in coverage start. Milano had the same issues early on. I think the defense will do it's best to cover for Bernard's deficiencies today.

    Bernard doesn't seem built for Edmunds's role. He seems perfect for Milano's role. Do we thinks MLB is a dime a dozen for McD? Like they're going to just keep drafting replacements? Seems like SLB is more in that category, but based on his history in Carolina, I think McD is fine with paying for 2 stars there. Those two LBs are super important.
