Same happened to me this year.
These guys get pumped full of fluids, medicine, and other stuff, though, on top of being peak athletes. Their recovery time is much shorter.
It's not the end of the world, but idk how any Bills fan can be okay with this outside of blind optimism. He was supposed to be their finisher in the playoffs. He's the one type of game changer that could put them over the top.
He had Tyrod Taylor and a rookie Josh Allen those first two years, but still managed to break the playoff drought with Taylor as his QB. You think that was bad coaching? Those first two years were absolutely critical in establishing a winning culture for the Bills and I'd say McD and co. hit it out of the park.
And please don't come back with a "Andy Dalton got the Bills into the playoffs" line. Been there, done that.
I know. That poster said a minimum. 3-4 OL is a lot for one draft, lol. Not to mention the fact that we'd likely only get to keep two after the rest are poached off the PS like Jack Anderson was.
The Bills have been the standard for team building and an overall system of complimentary football. Hopefully they can add a championship to the resume.
People need to get over this idea that Odell will be a playoff piece for whatever team signs him.
He's been straight forward from the beginning that he's looking for a multi-year deal.
With that said, it'd probably be a better deal to sign him now than to wait for the 2023 FA period.
You need to show us the data for a true comparison. I wanna see hours worked, miles run, heart rate tracking and sleep schedules since the first day of camp.
Get on it, Art!
Not to mention the greatest POS of all time... Tom Brady
I think a Bills player did something similar later in the game...unless I'm thinking of a different game. I watch all the games and sometimes they blend together.
But Bills players aren't above giving "love taps" from time to time, either.
The Bills will pay him in the top 5 of ILBs and I won't disagree. He's always been an integral part of this defense. I think we see the Bills LB spending go up and safety spending go down. But one thing is for sure, the Bills will continue spending on defense.
6 pages already. You all fell for it. @Billsfan1972 is a quality troll. He's not obnoxious, but calmly negative with a consistent approach. Good trolling is an art form.
It's not an Edmunds-or-Oliver situation. The Bills will make room for both. They want young core stars at every level. Poyer is likely gone after this season and Micah will be gone after next. Finding a replacement safety will be big next year, although it seems like they feel okay with Hamlin. I'd love to see them draft one in the 2nd or 3rd.
