1. Is Josh Allen and NFL rookie? Yes he is. Facts are important. It is an incontrovertible fact that he is a rookie. 2. Are the things I called mistakes actually mistakes. Yes they are. Once again facts are important Put 1 and 2 together and you have "rookie mistakes" The fact that you don't think they are rookie mistakes really has no bearing on the facts. The fact is they are rookie mistakes. Facts are important.

The team is 2-2 in games in games Allen started and finished. The team is 0-2 in games he did not start and finish. Compared with the other rookie QBs his effectiveness in helping his team win games is as good as theirs. Allen has had some very good plays. He has made some plays I am pretty sure the other rookies cannot. Allen has had some very good plays nullified by drops, These good plays have included accurate passes to all areas of the field, and running plays that cannot be made by any other QB in the NFL other than Cam Newton. He has been pretty good at not turning the ball over. Allen has had some dud plays too. Holding the ball too long. Some inaccurate throws. Some poor decision making in the pocket. Right now these are called rookie mistakes. If they continue into the middle of next year, then they will be called "bad QB" mistakes. If Allen increases the number of good plays and correspondingly reduces the dud plays, he will be heading in the direction of being a very good QB. If the team adds no additional play makers on offense, and the ratio of good plays to bad plays by Allen stays the same, and the playbook stays as limited as it is now, then the Bills offense will continue to be bad. Time will tell.

Woods, Watkins, Hogan and Goodwin

We won the right to watch EJ Manuel waste their talents. Nothing else. Watkins is a triple bust. Under performed what the Bills gave for him. Same for the Raiders. Ditto for the Chiefs. Hogan just might benefit from the goat. Goodwin s not that good. Woods would have been smart to keep. -

McCoy dazzles fans with some impressive cuts and moves. But when you look at the numbers, he is not anywhere near one of the NFL's most productive backs. -
That is the question. For example if Patrick Mahomes first read is wide open 75 of the time, he has an easy pass attempt. If Allen's first read is never open, then the time to read that is lost and I am pretty sure the second read pass is always more difficult. But i think comparing a QB stats who never has an open first read to someone whose first read is usually open would be tough.

What percentage of passes in the NFL go to the first or second read? I am unable to find any information on this. There is a lot of criticism of young QBs about making poor decisions after making there first read, But watching other games yesterday, it seems to me that more than half of all passing plays go to the first read, and that 75% go to the first or second read. Does anyone know real statistics on this. I really don't trust my eyes to know.

We have the worst WR situation in the league. Maybe in NFL history. This is far bigger problem than QB

Some would say that hill , hunt and kelce are better weapons that kb, zay and clay Its cold in Buffalo, we just need to establish the run. Nothing much else to know about offense. -

Because a defensive hold prevents the player from getting up the field. It is a perfectly logical rule. -
All Bills fans can agree that no darker soul than Bill Belichick has ever tormented the Bills more. The only logical explanation for a skinny 6th round draft pick to become the greatest QB of all , marry a beautiful super model, and never age is that his soul was sold to the Devil, who is obviously Bill Belichick. The devil has tempted a number of players over the years to sell him their soul, but all have had the character to resist. Ryan Mallet, Brian Hoyer, Jimmy Garapola resisted and were ultimately dismissed. Nate Peterman in his short time with the Bills has wreaked more havoc per game than the even the dark one could imagine. But his time tormenting the Bills from within is coming to a close. The next step will be for the dark one to promise Peterman wealth, beautiful women, a long NFL career, and 15 years of further tormenting the Bills in exchange for only his soul. It will start with a signing to the PS this year, after he is cut. Then in 2021, when demon Brady announces his retirement, Peterman will appear in camp and win the Patriots starting job. He will spend the next decade drawing comparisons to Tom Brady, as he battles Patrick Mahome year after Year for the AFC championship. Every Bills game will include broadcast commentary on which Bills mistake was worse, trading the pick used for Mahomes, or releasing Peterman. No one will admit Belichick is the devil.

How does this work with the salary cap? can the Bills pay taxes for their players because NY states suck worse than almost anywhere?
