  1. "All the time" Can you venture to guess how many times this actually happened.
  2. He doesn't trouble me at all. I just expect better quality work from him, than that swing and miss of his.
  3. Newton does not have Allen's release velocity. Not even close. Try to improve the snark next time.
  4. Neither Elway nor Young come close to the velocity that Allen can throw a ball. Also, I will not be sad, if Allen only ends up being as good as Elway or Young. Also Steve young was 40 pounds lighter and 3 inches shorter than Allen.
  5. Josh Allen has the physical skills to be the greatest QB in NFL history. No other current QB can make that claim. But Allen's combination of size, speed, agility, arm strength and total strength are unmatched in NFL history. Clealy mentally acuity and brilliant eye hand coordination are critical elements to becoming a great QB. Hopefully Allen can add those to the mix and make the next GOAT also an AFC east guy.
  6. To be clear, those are results from 2 seasons ago in the first columns. The last year before McDermott.
  7. My definite cuts: Benjamin Clay Crossman McCoy Definite Keeps: Allen Edmunds Zay Jones Haushka Tre White Milano Philips Hughes The rest of the players are mostly jags. Keep them if you can't replace them with cheaper jags or upgrade them.
  8. Sean McD took over a team that finished 7-9 in 2016. 13 teams had 7 or fewer wins that year. Of that group of teams, 7 have surpassed the Bills since then. One of them (Eagles) won last years super bowl. McD's process appears to be slower than some other teams process. Kaizen.
  9. The point is what are we building? Because it seems to me we are building an undisciplined team that makes variations of the same clown show mistakes week after week.
  10. If you are a fan of the NFL and watch games, buy tickets and merchandise and otherwise support the league, then you are supporting an awful lot of thugs , many in the league, some in the hall of fame, one of the most notorious on our own wall of fame. Periodic virtue signaling by denouncing a particular player because their actions become part of the public discussion does not make you morally superior to all the fans in the game. There are really ethical people who have stopped watching and supporting the NFL all together over these types of issues. But if you are just a poseur that wants to watch the games , but pretend you are superior to the fans of other teams because they sign Robert Foster or Kareem Hunt, then well, you are just a poseur. On the field, Kareem Hunt has proven to be a professional with an even temperament and a high skill level. If the justice system puts him in jail for his off the field transgressions, that is perfectly fine with me. I am not a cop, a district attorney, a judge or a juror being called into make a judgment on his off the field issues. I am a football fan, and would be happy to see my team improved.
  11. I feel like today's loss is indicative of what teams with a losing culture do. Lose games that should have been won. Bad clock management at the end of the first half, losing a challenge on an emotional play, getting personal foul celebration penalties on a play that could have stalled a drive. Mcdermott is directly responsible for the first two of these issues, and should have sat phillips for the rest of the game after his asinine penalty. I don't think the undisciplined penalties and special teams clown show helps build a winning culture. But that is just me. Do others think we will learn from today's game and not repeat these mistakes again and again like we seem to week after week?
  12. My Pet Peeve with this thread is with the title. In a season that McClappity saw fit to use 2/3s' of the off-season starting QB reps for Peterman and McCarron, and a team that still has Kelvin Benjamin on the roster, Clay is at best the third most useless player ever.
  13. The injury that took him of three games was in the pocket. Alex Smith just was put out for the season standing in the pocket. QBs are pretty vulnerable in the pocket.
  14. I think the reason he fell was that he was committed to the idea that he had to have the TD. If he had only focused on catching the ball it was easy. It was not a game ending hail mary situation. Just needed the first.
  15. It does, just not in games coached by the bad game managing coaches the Bills have had since Marv Levy.
  16. Or catch it and have the first down where he caught it.
  17. There are not. Time left. Time outs left. Field position. Which team has the ball. There is an optimal decision about taking/ not taking times outs for each situation. Good coaches don't use their gut or figure it out on the fly. They know exactly what they are going to do in a given situation before the game begins.
  18. Allen has a very quick release. His receivers get no separation. In addition to the quick release he has the cojones to try to let the sad sack receivers get separation. So he holds the ball and gives them time. Then they drop it.
  19. Do you think that penalties are only called when someone is injured?
