  1. Allen can cover 300 yards in as few as 4 passes (might not five it its windy). The question is can Bills receivers catch 300 yards of passes. Recent history tells us no.
  2. Raven's fans are going to be sad. Jackson is never going to a top end NFL QB.
  3. I will be surprised and disappointed if McCoy is starting next year. He is clearly used up at this point, and the lack of a good running game has increased the pressure significantly on Josh Allen. Put Todd Gurley type stud RB ( not easy to get) in the backfield and add one very good WR, and Allen will quickly become a better version of Jared Goff. If McCoy is the starting RB, that means the Bills likely have the worst running attack in the NFL. Not great for developing the a young QB
  4. I don't think it will be this year, because they Bills have so few weapons. Stop for a moment and ask yourself, how would the 300 yards be spread around. The Bills have a weak cast of WR's and have no running backs or TE's who are good YAC guys. It just a tough proposition.
  5. Sometimes these things are best understood by reviewing the converse. For example. Kelvin Benjamin is not a true #1 receiver.
  6. You contribution certainly is. We can all agree on that.
  7. Dawkins? Teller? Jones? Foster? Mckenzie? All just a guy. They are not terrible players. None of them performs at an above average level for their position.
  8. I am not sure why everyone is so distressed. I was just hoping to get some other view points on the season that has pretty much wrapped up. There are plenty of NFL JAGs on the team. It is pretty easy to no one on offense other than Allen being on the team to start the 2020 season. Just based no sheer numbers someone likely will. But almost everyone can be matched or upgraded with an average NFL player at any offensive position.
  9. The 20 game 2019 pre-season is over for competitive purposes. Nothing can change what we have learned this year. The Bills have a young franchise QB to build around Other than Josh Allen there are no important players on the offensive side of the Ball The defense has several young players to build around Coaching is questionable at all senior positions HC, OC, DC and especially special teams. I will watch the games. I expect to enjoy watching Allen's athletic gifts. I will pray no one is hurt. But they are as meaningless as it gets.
  10. Do people think if McDermott had committed to Allen at the beginning of training camp and not wasted the time he did with McCarron and Peterman, that Allen might be further along now?
  11. Given that Darnold has by far more interceptions than Allen, how do you determine Allen has a bigger accuracy issue?
  12. Historically, yards per attempt is more meaningful than passing %. No single metric captures all of it.
  13. and too repeat. He really does not have major accuracy shortcomings. You just don't understand what you are seeing.
  14. I think your missing the bigger picture. The Bills insane amount of penalties has put Allen in a hole more than any QB in the NFL likely . He is throwing long pass attempts because he is forced to more often than not, which also means the defense is playing for the long pass making it doubly difficult.
  15. I don't think Allen is the play caller. And an five yard completion is no better than a 12 yard incomplete on third and 10.
  16. Stats are tricky in football, currently according to NFL "next gen stats" Josh Allen has the longest average attempted pass, by a considerable margin 11.1 yds. This clearly lowers the expected completion percentage. https://nextgenstats.nfl.com/stats/passing#average-intended-yards
