  1. Bills had a lot of draft capital spent in the first round to land no one as a starter on the "all-rookie" team. These selections are a huge slap in the face to the McBeane.
  2. Do answer the thread, certainly we could be better set up. We could have Patrick Mahomes and better coaching. That is one example. That example exists in reality. Other examples that exist in reality is that we could have Russell Wilson, who has many years left, and doesn't need any mentoring. I love Allen as a player. Barkley is meaningless. Anderson is less than meaningless as far as the future of the team is concerned.
  3. Every single playoff team had a better running back in than McCoy. Many had 2 Better running backs. He is a liability at any contract price.
  4. His own comment that I was responding too makes it clear that he thinks someone reading the title will be confused and respond inappropriately. That makes it a silly title.
  5. Do you understand the huge contract the Ravens got to dump, compared to Taylor?
  6. Did you write that title says something you don't mean? That seems silly.
  7. This post is clueless. He has done a really good job including winning a super bowl with the broncos.
  8. even 1 more loss per year can be the difference between home field advantage throughout and playing on wild card weekend.
  9. 11 super bowls for the pats compared to 8 for the Steelers. Not sure why the formula gives so much credit to playoff lossess
  10. The Bills are the third most important reason the Pats have had this 16 year run , after HC and QB. Of course we are interested.
  11. This is wrong. Foles is the consummate professional and fully understands the team needs to do what is best for the team.
  12. Union deals require players to follow union rules. He only "earned" the right to be part of the collective bargaining agreement.
  13. I think this is wrong. I think there are a number of other QBs in the league over time that Bellicheck could have been a juggernuat with . Rivers, Brees, Manning, Rothlisberger, Rogers, R. Wilson, M. Ryan, Cam Newtown, Not having Tom Brady, does not mean you must have JP Losman , Trent Edwards, or Nate Peterman.
  14. Barkley is a legitimate pick, but far from a no-brainer pick. Stats are nice. Barkley is a great player, but Mayfield performed a high level in a more important postion, and basically turned around the hopes and dreams of a franchise.
  15. "Only gain". So there is no chance anyone performs at a lesser level in 2019 than 2018?
  16. This stability results when teams win. For example the Bills fired the WR coach, Oline coach and special teams coach because all sucked. By the "stability" logic, we should expect each of these units to deteriorate next season.
  17. Which of these went on to become a great coach?
  18. The title of this tread is not really the right question for a good GM to ask. The right question to ask is "where can I get the return on investment for each decision". For example, Khalil Mack for a first round pick and a rookie contract gives a much bigger return on investment then the return for a basket of picks plus 20 million per season. Patrick Mahomes for a first round pick and 3 million per year is a much better investment than Kirk Cousins for 24 million per year.
  19. What contact? The coaches can't have contact with Anderson either. Do people think Anderson is free-lancing coming up with his own QB development plan without contact with the Bills coaching staff?
  20. People are "making up" wierd theories, that have no basis in reality. I am pointing out actual facts. Allen is working with Palmer. He is not working with Anderson.
  21. https://footballiqscore.com/wonderlic-score-database/derek-anderson This is not coaching material. Anderson has little to nothing to do with Allen's development.
