I'm in VA, too. The first 45 minutes were blacked out on my DVR recording, but my son and I kept fast forwarding and rewinding, then it started playing. I may have gotten lucky because of a glitch.

Super frustrated by Directv, too. Had the game set to record on 212-1, and when I went to watch it late last night, the first 45 minutes were blackout out, but then the rest of the game recorded, so I missed almost all of the first quarter. I don't know why they would blackout a portion of the game? I'm in VA. Very strange, but, to be honest, it is just one more nail in the coffin for them. They are terrible.

The improvement of this roster is incredible.

Totally encouraged by the game last night. I can't recall being this positive following a preseason game. And this is with Allen look plus-minus. -
Wanna buy Tom Brady's house?
mykidsdad replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If buying the house meant getting him off the Pats, I think we could raise ths money. If we could get 50k fans on board I think it would be 700 bucks a person. Money well spent. -
Colts vs Bills on DTV 212-1 live Thurs?
mykidsdad replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You all were a great help. For what it's worth I found the Bill's Colts game in the guide in Direct TV, clicked on it, hit info, and it appears I will be recording it live on Thursday. It's odd because it is the only thing listed in the line for channel 212-1 even though it isnt on for a week. I hope this thread helps other out to state Bill's fan like me, and I hope NFL network airs the other games too. -
Colts vs Bills on DTV 212-1 live Thurs?
mykidsdad replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I dont think I'm understanding. Do you need to have direct TV AND gamepass to watch the Bill's Colts preseason game live on 212? I live out of state. -
I don't understand your take. If this is a joke about religion, well done. Throw in some politics to make your post even less offensive.

I think he says nothing new, but it is interesting that it is coming from a Pats fan.

There is a football game tonight ...!
mykidsdad replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Preseason football is terrible, and this first game, the 5th for these teams, is the worst preseason game of the year which makes it the worst of the worst, and, yet, like a moth to the fire, I wouldn't miss it. Football is almost finally back. You know you're a football addict when you set your DVR to record the HOF game! I think I need counseling. -
Bills at Giants Regular Season 1990 Highlights
mykidsdad posted a topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In my desperate effort to survive the offseason, I came across some highlights I hadn't seen in a while. Good game with some foreshadowing of what might happen later that year. One thing that surprised me was hearing the Giants fans cheer when Kelly went down injured at 8:18. It sounds like the entire stadium was cheering. Even 30 years later Giant Fan you lose points with me. It makes my skin crawl. Anyways, this was still a good game to watch agaim from a golden age of Bill's football -

Melvin Ingram lays down Super Bowl guarantee

Awesome. Now I know the Chargers won't be winning the Superbowl. One team down, 30 more to go. -

Steve Smith Sr. on One Bills Live right now
mykidsdad replied to Bubba Gump's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
From looking at him you would never think Elite Wr, but he was. I wouldn't want to make Mr. Smith mad, not ever, so if he's reading this right now. You're the best! -
Sporting News ranks all 32 NFL coaches for 2019
mykidsdad replied to Bubba Gump's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's nearly impossible to grade a coach after two years with all of the roster turnover. And frankly how do you grade coach and not grade a coach as a coach-GM team. It's about the Johns and the Joes, not the X's and O's, right? -
Chris Brown: Josh in No Huddle is Dialed in
mykidsdad replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the fact that this regime took Singletary so high means he really must have impressed. His competition in college wasn't great, but he looks special like he has instincts that are exceptional. If he can catch, too, then Singletary could be special. He has a lot of upside. I would say 80% of running backs are the same, so finding a special one isn't easy, and worst case we're out a No. 74 pick. I know I sound like an old guy, but can he block. He isn't big. And a quick hitting third down back is great, but to be truly special he needs to be able to stay on the field for 3 downs. -
LORAX on Jim Rome coming up at 1:40 PM EST

Thanks for the summary. Is there a link to the segment anywhere? Sorry I missed it. -
This reminds me of some of the things I've heard about Pete Carol. The thing is though, there are so many types of winning coaches. Tony Dungy, Bill Parcells, Pederson, I think they are all type A people, but they go about it differently. By itself his being interested in self-improvement probably just means McD is an interesting guy with at least slightly above average intelligence which makes him one of maybe a billion or two people. I'm not knocking it. I just want to see wins. I don't care if he reads Dr. Seuse every day.

I'm trying so hard not to drink the cool aide, but I'm feeling really thirsty. Could Josh be for real? Could a turn around finally be for real?
