I think a lot of our defenses weakness this year has been the secondary and lack of elite safeties. When Poyer and Hyde have both been hurt, the defense has been atrocious. But when we have at least Poyer back there we are significantly better. Edmunds is a good player who I think we should resign. he can only cover so much of the field. But stupid plays like cam Lewis giving up 4th and 18 or Dane Jackson being in perfect position but failing to make a play has been the bane of our defense this season.

Totally agree with you. It has become a d*+k measuring contest. At this point I’m ignoring everything about the game except the injury report and simply waiting for the game to start.

Some people are more susceptible to concussions than others. I don’t know how the concussion experts aren’t keeping a close eye on Tua and basically checking him out after every major hit to the head. also, it’s ok to check someone out later in the game. Let’s say they didn’t realize his head hit until the third quarter it should still be fine to check him out. Don’t let him keep playing if it’s an issue

Wonder if Nate Hackett will ever be an OC again after this disaster in Denver. IMO they should have fired him like 2-3 weeks ago and evaluate if Hackett was the issue or Russ is.

Even Zach Wilson had a really solid game against us in the first matchup. He hit almost every throw he needed to to keep the jets in that game.
