Milano tied for league lead in non-sack TFL & run stuffs
VaMilBill replied to BarleyNY's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t recall that. I thought Milano was a role player his rookie year. Didn’t really get a lot of playing time until about week 8 against the Falcons I believe. He has always made plays. bernard is a dud. And it’s readily apparent, IMO -
Von hopes to be back vs the Jets, source seems legit
VaMilBill replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m not a doctor and I don’t know all the details of Von’s injury, but the meniscus tear isn’t going to get any better by not playing. It’s simply going to stay the same until surgery. So if the bills think they need him now, then play him. Or they can save him for their more important games to prevent further injury. -
It’s crazy how dumb players are in regards to this. I feel like that should be the first, and most stressed, rule change players are coached to as soon as they enter the NFL. I know it hasn’t been like that up until the pros, but come on, you’re a darn professional. Take pride in showing your knowledge of the profession to include the rules. and I’m not just talking about this individual in the clip. You see it all the time

If I recall, this ref crew was the crew for our browns game. They were utterly terrible
-
Mostly I’m speaking these last few weeks. Green Bay is mediocre, Jets are above average but have terrible QB play, Minnesota was very beatable, browns are bad and we’re with us to the end, Detroit…same story. We can’t put teams away and we blow games because of it. Defense isn’t very good this year probably due to injuries mostly. But if the offense can’t fix it, whatever “it” is, we will continue to struggle and have an early exit in the playoffs
-
It isn’t sarcasm. And I think it’s somewhat realistic. Our offense has been very ineffective. No consistent drives. We are eeking out wins against bad teams these last few weeks and have also blown some games in spectacular fashion. I think we make the playoffs, but if something doesn’t change, we will not win the division
-
I’d say because mike McDaniel is a much better offensive mind than Dorsey. McDaniel is clearly working with a inferior QB in Tua and is making him look like an all pro because he chooses plays to his strength and supports him with route concepts that get players open consistently. Dorsey is very unimaginative and we rarely see people wide open. He’s honestly looking like Rick Dennison as an offensive coordinator.
-
Depends. If they repair a torn meniscus he will be out for the season. If he gets it removed, he will probably be out 6 weeks. he should be able to play on it even if it’s torn assuming he doesn’t have a bucket handle tear (essentially the meniscus tears and folds on itself…painful and prevents knee from straightening)

JA: Yips, new OC, or poor OL?
VaMilBill replied to Professor Worthington's topic in The Stadium Wall
I gotta say it’s OC. I’m not a Josh apologist. I’ll be the first that he has made some terrible, terrible throws and decisions. But he has been placed in that position because we have trusted nearly 85% of our offense on his shoulders. Josh feels like he has to make the offense move and click. He’s been pressing. why we don’t run more, especially with him injured, baffles me. Against the browns we showed we can control the clock and assert ourselves. It also opens up the playbook and our ability for play action. I understand our o line is bad and Knox is needed to block, but he has not schemer him into the game at all which is an indictment on Dorsey -
Okay, I'll bite...did the Bass missed XP actually help us out?
VaMilBill replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree. Don’t back them into a corner and have to go four downs every set until they score. Our defense has been an absolute liability these last four weeks that they should absolutely not be trusted to get a stop. I think if the Lions wanted to go for the win, which I would have done based on how our defense looked, I would have kept going for that TD to beat us. We weren’t stopping them with four downs -
I doubt it. I wouldn’t want to touch him because of his lack of energy as well as 13 seconds. Also, I’m very curious to look at our standings the last 4 weeks as a defensive unit. We have been utterly terrible. Can’t stop anything. 3rd and long has been particularly agonizing.

Tbh, based on how everything looks, I’d considered firing McD if lose first round in playoffs. Entire staff looks lost and not gettin the most out of our players -
