No way we are gonna be monitoring that game while ours is going on. You play to win the game. Not to work scenarios out

Not sure why we traded for Dean Marlowe at this point. He’s gotta be better than Jaquon Johnson. releasing Rhodes makes sense for the purpose of Benford or perhaps another d lineman for the patriots game

Sean McDermott should be Coach of the Year
VaMilBill replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think another capstone of the season for McD was keeping the ship steady. That image of him keeping Diggs calm and focused in the Lions game helping the team go on a six game win streak. im biased, but after yesterday he should absolutely be coach of the year. To be honest, I bet this will make more free agents want to come and play in Buffalo for a man like McD -
What if the Bills refuse to play the Patriots?
VaMilBill replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
Gotta move on. Can’t dwell on it forever. I know that sounds callous, but these guys need to compartmentalize. It’s a trait every human should learn where you can still function in whatever profession or relationship you are in. -
Only way the Bills Bengals game doesn’t matter is if we lose to NE. If we beat NE, we still control our destiny for the one seed if we get to resume play against Cincinnati

Wasn’t Foles screaming and rolling in pain. I’m pretty sure he saw it

I honestly don’t know how they are gonna play this game against the patriots. I wouldnt expect to hear an update about Damar until this Thursday at the earliest. I mean, I hope this doesn’t happen, but the bills could be going to a funeral on Saturday, Lord willing. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that, but there has to be so much going through their minds. It’s just a game. However, they need to compartmentalize to the best of their abilities if they want to keep the train on the tracks, which I’m sure they do. Some people think differently and grieve differently than others and can quickly put things behind them. Based on the game last night, Stefon looks like one of those people. there is no right choice. But at the same time, the world goes on. The Bills need to figure out, quickly, if they are ready to move on with it

I grew up playing sports including football from when I was 7 until I graduated high school. So many valuable life lessons I learned from the sport as well as amazing friends that I still have to this day in my thirties. Like someone posted above, the benefits of playing team sports, especially football, far outweigh the pitfalls of it.

To be honest it’ll be tough for both teams, especially the bills, to prepare/practice for the NE game next week. I think the best course of action for the nfl is to take a weeklong pause (thereby removing the 2 week gap between the SB and championship games) and slide the entire nfl schedule a week. It may screw up a lot of logistics, but if player safety is their top priority, I think this is the right choice

1/2/23 Week 17 Gameday Bills @ Bengals Pregame Thread

Not a doctor, but I’m pretty sure once it’s flipped it’s gonna be stuck that way and will require surgery to repair it or remove the torn portion -
1/2/23 Week 17 Gameday Bills @ Bengals Pregame Thread

No doubt he should be able to play pain free on it. The worry is it becoming a bucket handle tear where the meniscus flips on itself becoming painful and restricting range of motion. I suspect he will not practice again this season and will be playing every game until we win the SB, are eliminated or until he gets a bucket handle. But if this tweet is accurate, it’s reassuring knowing he will be out there for us still -
Kenny Pickett looked like Matt Ryan in the Super Bowl taking an absolutely atrocious sack

No way they’d move us from Monday to Saturday with what’s at stake. That would be a huge disadvantage to us.

2022 NFL Week 17 (January 1, 2023) GDT Dolphins @ New England

Mac is a petulant little child. Guy is extremely unlikeable. Dirty, complains, and is bad. He really offers no redeemable qualities. but I would rather see NE in the playoffs than Miami -
Buffalo News analysis of Tremaine Edmunds this season
VaMilBill replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think a lot of our defenses weakness this year has been the secondary and lack of elite safeties. When Poyer and Hyde have both been hurt, the defense has been atrocious. But when we have at least Poyer back there we are significantly better. Edmunds is a good player who I think we should resign. he can only cover so much of the field. But stupid plays like cam Lewis giving up 4th and 18 or Dane Jackson being in perfect position but failing to make a play has been the bane of our defense this season. -
Totally agree with you. It has become a d*+k measuring contest. At this point I’m ignoring everything about the game except the injury report and simply waiting for the game to start.

Russell Wilson and Deshaun Watson failing good for QB market.
VaMilBill replied to Ramza86's topic in The Stadium Wall
I disagree. Every time I hear about the top tier QBs is only Mahomes and Burrow that are talked about. Josh seems to be a tier below them in their eyes, which I vehemently disagree with.
