Whaley has done a good job. I still believe we have one of the most talented teams in the NFL. It comes down to coaching. Look at the 49ers and what happened to them after harbaugh got canned. They suck now. There really can't be any excuse except this coaching staff is just a mediocre one at best. i think its safe to say too that we really have an easier schedule this year against arguably the two weakest divisions in the NFL. This season has been very disappointing and Im afraid to see if our team is mentally checked out now

Why didn't he just throw it up. Chances of it being returned for 2 are slim to none

Kelly has had way too many passes batted down this season. He has a long throwing motion which is bad. He also throws slightly sidearmed instead of over the top which could be the reason a lot of his passes are getting batted. Plus he plays in a spread offense. He also has some great WRs playing for him that are big including Laquon Treadwell who will be a top 15 pick. He does have a solid arm and is willing to sling the ball around. Plus he's a pretty good athlete. Im not sure if his skills would translate to the NFL. At least not immediately. He would need to be a developmental qb.

I don't know where you guys are getting the idea that the defender knocked that ball out of shadys hands. Honestly, if mccourty wasn't there I think shady still doesn't catch it. It was being uncontrollably bobbled before mccourty even touched him

I'm not upset at all really. Usually I'm pissed because we get hosed by one or two terrible penalties that completely change the game. But that didn't happen last night. When we are given a fair chance, I think it is easier for me to accept a loss. Plus, I think this loss will put the team in a spot where they will have to fight there way the next two crucial weeks.

This MNF broadcast is all about the patriots and it pissed me off. All they talk about is the pats. Look at the advertising for the game: 90% of the time patriots were in them

This is a classic game where one side of the ball falters (the offense) and gives no relief to the other side of the ball. Eventually the defense is gonna spring a leak

I really like Laquon Treadwell from Ole Miss for us. He should be in the area of the draft we are picking. He has great hands and is a good route runner. Plus he has size. He is also a great blocker. Says his favorite part of the game is blocking. I would love to see him and Sammy in our WR corps

I agree on holding off on this talk of GM of the year. But I think Whaley has really done a remarkable job and was very surprised a month ago when lots of people on this board were wanting him fired. He has built a very solid team (one of the most talented teams in the NFL I believe) without grabbing huge free agent pickups. I hope he continues to hit like he has in drafts.

If we lose this game, I think there should start to be some serious thought to if Rex is the guy to lead this team. We have great talent but it feels like it is being wasted this year
