  1. Did anyone else just see Wilfork drop into coverage? Lol
  2. Doesn't help when your WR drops an easy TD. But yeah, he's been very pedestrian..... as usual
  3. Edelman is such a punk. I hate him more than Brady. Edelman is the epitome of NE smugness
  4. I've heard a couple analysts mention over the past few years that Hester should be a future hall of famer. If he's a HOFer then shouldn't Steve Tasker be one because he was equally as good and contributed just as much if not more to his respective team?
  5. [quote name="HT02" post="4211183" timestamp="1484087284 I couldn't disagree more. That is what we have been trying to do for almost all of the 17 years. This team isnt bad but even.if it were get a QB keep searching until you find one. You have your opinion, I have mine. But spending a draft pick every year on a QB is excessive. There is no commitment to a player. What happens when you get a QB who shows some glimmer of hope as a rookie but you're not sure if he's the guy? You draft another guy and are quick to give your other QB the hook as soon as they go through a rough patch? Plus, you're leaving the rest of your team exposed by not drafting a positional need
  6. I disagree. You don't draft a QB just to draft a QB. You draft a QB when the time is right and when you have a foundation on offense to support him. If you go by that notion that you're suggesting 1)you're spending high round draft picks that most likely won't contribute immediately or ever 2) you prevent any of the QBs on the roster from developing with a loaded QB corps (see NYJ) 3) you're drafting a QB that you might not necesssarily like or one that doesn't fit your system.
  7. I would rather take Mike Williams at 10, then grab Evan Engram from ole miss in the second. Grab a safety in the third. You instantly have great specialists that any QB could throw to. Then we draft a QB next year if Cardale doesn't improve.
  8. I don't think I could tolerate watching another game with EJ as our starter much less an entire season
  9. I personally think Hoyer would be a downgrade to Tyrod. Keep in mind, we would probably be 10-6 this year (at least) if our defense plays somewhat competently instead of letting teams march up and down the field and scoring TDs. Tyrod gives you that dual threat which helps open up the actual run game with shady. Hoyer doesn't provide that (see what the running game did against the jets with EJ in). If we have Hoyer starting, our run game is severely diminished, Hoyer has to throw a lot more, and we don't control the ball or score points. I could easily see us being 5-11 with Hoyer starting
  10. One thing I noticed during the Raiders-Texans game is Gruden mentioned, when talking to Jack Del Rio, that some teams have great reputations for being "disciplined" teams and others have "undisciplined" reputations. Therefor the teams that are labeled undisciplined, the refs are already prepared to throw flags before the game even starts and will throw at ticky-tacky calls where with the disciplined teams will get the benefit of the doubt. That was coming from an NFL head coach, that has to mean something. But it shows, good teams like the Seahawks and patriots and packers seem to always have calls go there way or no-calls go there way where the bad teams get screwed on tons of calls that ultimately change the way the game is played out. It's ridiculous. Unfortunate thing is reviewing every play would make the game excruciatling long and is unfeasible
  11. That's a TD if jones catches that
  12. Glad we didn't draft Ebron a few years ago. He's been a bum
  13. Brock Osweiler pisses me off. He's acting like he's beating the best team in the NFL. Without Carr the raiders look like a 3-13 team. Brock will get served a good portion of humble pie next week
  14. I hate NE. But I hope they crush Houston next week
  15. I agree with everything but your score prediction. I say NE wins 30-0
  16. Cook isn't feeling pressure very well Year in and year out, Houston gets in the playoffs because they play in a crappy division meanwhile here we are fighting for wild card games every year with a two game deficit (Patriot losses).
  17. Yep. I was thinking that after Houston kicked that field goal
  18. This is pathetic. I can't believe the raiders haven't gone play action down field yet. Screw the Texans. They are getting a really cheap playoff win today on top of the fact they play in a garbage division
  19. Sounds like you didn't watch any Ole Miss games this year. The o-line was terrible all season, the defense was a sieve. They made Vandys offense look like a powerhouse and the auburn game was very similar to our second Miami game this year. Kelly kept scoring but the defense couldn't stop squat. Although I still wouldn't touch Kelly until at least the fifth round if I were a team. His skill sets are taking 5-7 step drops then throwing. Current NFL is all about quick throws now and he'd take a lot of sacks trying to make a play
  20. I agree with you on Deshaun Watson. I can't see him being any better than Tyrod throwing wise and he's not as good an athlete is Tyrod. Therefor he would really be a downgrade to Tyrod except we would probably have to spend a first rounder on him. I think our number one need is safety or WR. But I would not be opposed to taking Rueben foster if he were there. I think he'd be great. He is athletic, rangy, aggressive and seems like he really hits hard. In reality we are also gonna need a DT early too. Even if Kyle comes back, he probably only has one year left. I know RT is a huge need but the way to go lately seems like signing FA o line (see Oakland). Just seems like Whaley doesn't evaluate o line very well draft-wise.
  21. Good lord this is depressing. This game accurately represents my life as a bills fan
  22. Got luck revis fell down otherwise that might be an INT
  23. What a fitting end to our season
