  1. Elliot deserved it over Dak for sure
  2. "He knows the Patriots really well." Probably a reason espn will want to hire Rex....we all know espn likes to coddle the Pats balls
  3. I know Kyle has a large cap hit. But his veteran presence is needed during this transition. He is worth the money still (at least based on his play this past year). If they cut Kyle, I think it would be way worse than when we cut Fred. Fred had nothing left to give. Kyle has plenty to give still. I hope he gets to see a playoff game next year but he most likely wont
  4. Very Meh....all we need is Matt Cassel at QB and it will be a Meh team
  5. Learned to not soil myself, then how to talk, then graduated K12 schools, college, military, about to be married. And I've lived a depressing life as a Bills fan. Will I ever get to see a Bills super bowl victory?
  6. Gabriel and Mack are the first ones to come to mind.
  7. I mean statistically it wasn't his best. But just watching him this year he looked just as, if not more dominant than 2010 or 2014. Dude is no slouch. What I'd give for 22 Kyles on our team
  8. He should have gotten in initially without anyone having to back out. I think this was his best season yet
  9. I'm worried we are going to have to settle for some scrub OC that's worse than Olsen Someone who is way in over their head and won't be able to effectively develop a new rookie QB if we truly are going to rebuild
  10. Glad we didn't hire him
  11. Bill O'Brien just looked like he was laughing after that pick. Probably thinking to himself, "This guy sucks. I can't believe we gave him $37 mil"
  12. Did anyone else just see Wilfork drop into coverage? Lol
  13. Doesn't help when your WR drops an easy TD. But yeah, he's been very pedestrian..... as usual
  14. Edelman is such a punk. I hate him more than Brady. Edelman is the epitome of NE smugness
  15. I've heard a couple analysts mention over the past few years that Hester should be a future hall of famer. If he's a HOFer then shouldn't Steve Tasker be one because he was equally as good and contributed just as much if not more to his respective team?
  16. [quote name="HT02" post="4211183" timestamp="1484087284 I couldn't disagree more. That is what we have been trying to do for almost all of the 17 years. This team isnt bad but even.if it were get a QB keep searching until you find one. You have your opinion, I have mine. But spending a draft pick every year on a QB is excessive. There is no commitment to a player. What happens when you get a QB who shows some glimmer of hope as a rookie but you're not sure if he's the guy? You draft another guy and are quick to give your other QB the hook as soon as they go through a rough patch? Plus, you're leaving the rest of your team exposed by not drafting a positional need
  17. I disagree. You don't draft a QB just to draft a QB. You draft a QB when the time is right and when you have a foundation on offense to support him. If you go by that notion that you're suggesting 1)you're spending high round draft picks that most likely won't contribute immediately or ever 2) you prevent any of the QBs on the roster from developing with a loaded QB corps (see NYJ) 3) you're drafting a QB that you might not necesssarily like or one that doesn't fit your system.
  18. I would rather take Mike Williams at 10, then grab Evan Engram from ole miss in the second. Grab a safety in the third. You instantly have great specialists that any QB could throw to. Then we draft a QB next year if Cardale doesn't improve.
  19. I don't think I could tolerate watching another game with EJ as our starter much less an entire season
  20. I personally think Hoyer would be a downgrade to Tyrod. Keep in mind, we would probably be 10-6 this year (at least) if our defense plays somewhat competently instead of letting teams march up and down the field and scoring TDs. Tyrod gives you that dual threat which helps open up the actual run game with shady. Hoyer doesn't provide that (see what the running game did against the jets with EJ in). If we have Hoyer starting, our run game is severely diminished, Hoyer has to throw a lot more, and we don't control the ball or score points. I could easily see us being 5-11 with Hoyer starting
  21. One thing I noticed during the Raiders-Texans game is Gruden mentioned, when talking to Jack Del Rio, that some teams have great reputations for being "disciplined" teams and others have "undisciplined" reputations. Therefor the teams that are labeled undisciplined, the refs are already prepared to throw flags before the game even starts and will throw at ticky-tacky calls where with the disciplined teams will get the benefit of the doubt. That was coming from an NFL head coach, that has to mean something. But it shows, good teams like the Seahawks and patriots and packers seem to always have calls go there way or no-calls go there way where the bad teams get screwed on tons of calls that ultimately change the way the game is played out. It's ridiculous. Unfortunate thing is reviewing every play would make the game excruciatling long and is unfeasible
  22. That's a TD if jones catches that
  23. Glad we didn't draft Ebron a few years ago. He's been a bum
  24. Brock Osweiler pisses me off. He's acting like he's beating the best team in the NFL. Without Carr the raiders look like a 3-13 team. Brock will get served a good portion of humble pie next week
