  1. The interesting thing is after talking to some of my casual NfL fans who are fans of other teams besides the bills are just realizing Josh is an elite QB. He’s been elite for two seasons now. But I gotta say, it kinda shocks me how ignorant people are about josh. For all of us who watch josh week in and week out we can clearly see he’s a arguably a top 3 QB in the nfl at a minimum. He’s a playmaker and above all else, a winner. I don’t think Herbert nor burrow are even in the same class as Josh
  2. Motor is a solid second string level back. But he is not a premier guy. Sure, if he gets opportunities he’s going to put up some solid stats. Problem is he isn’t a home run hitter. He simply doesn’t have the speed to break away (from even LBs) not the ability to make people miss. Simply said, Motor doesn’t scare opposing defenses. I have no doubt we can do better than Motor. Although, he’s great to have as a change of pace back IMO.
  3. I don’t like Joe Burrow. Guy seems like a cocky do&@he. I want the Rams to win SB at this point.
  4. I will say that I totally agree with you on the ref aspect for the 13 seconds game. I was happy that it wasn’t an external force that cost us the game. It was all on the Bills which makes it just as hard to swallow, but I’m not angry about it How did he abuse the rules? I never saw the full game, just highlights
  5. BBFS. People say it should be gone after the last few years, but it will always exist in the back of our minds whether we like it or not. totally agree with you
  6. I wanted to take a survey of all you Bills fans to get an idea of what was the top three worst losses in franchise history for you as a fan. When I say worst, i mean it should take into account all factors including how painful, how unexpected, how consequential, etc. the loss was. I wanted to canvass and get a baseline for how painful this past loss was in terms of Bills misery. for me, I’m 30 years old so I didn’t really become a bills fan until the Losman years. I know about the 89 loss to the browns in the playoffs as well as wide right and music city miracle. In my opinion, since I’ve been a fan, the worst losses have been: 1) 2022, Bills vs Chiefs loss in divisional round of the playoffs. We all know what was on the line. Win, and we had a good shot to win the SB. Not only that, but we protect the legacy of the 90’s Bills by ensuring KC doesn’t get to another SB and threaten 4 in a row. If KC gets 4, then it is more impressive because of the SB win they have. In addition, the way we lost was absurd and really will leave a taint on this franchise and team for at least the next 5 years, minimum. 2) 2007: Bills lose to Dallas 25-24. Bills were huge underdogs in this game. It was the first MNF game Buffalo was hosting since 1994. Dallas was playing lights out all season. None of us expected the Bills to win. The defense and ST played lights out, Trent was meh, and we found ourselves in great position near the end. Then we snatched defeat from the jaws of victory and Dallas recovered an onside kick and Nick Folk kicks the winner. I’ve always despised Nick Folk since then. 3) 2009. Bills lose to Patriots on MNF 25-24. This one stung because again, Bills were big dogs. Tom Brady was still fresh off of his torn ACL recovery and a lot of us was hoping he would never be the same. Bills had been rocking all night. Aaron Schobel had the pick six. Defense had two 4th down stuffs. Then McKelvin, inexplicably returns the ball out of the end zone and fumbles. Couple of plays later Patriots score and we lose. Painful. honorable mention is the Pittsburgh loss where Stevie blamed God. That sucked because Pittsburgh was so good and we sucked. But Fitz was beginning to earn our love. Curious to hear what the old timers think.
  7. One of the worst things too, is the Chiefs are about to go to 3 straight Super Bowls, having won at least one of them, obviously threatening the Bills record of 4 in a row. We had a chance to not only go but to protect the legacy of pats Bills teams and we couldn’t do it in regards to McD making numerous monumental mistakes in the last 13 seconds, he always learns from mistakes. Problem is, we may never be in this position again. Things obviously change year to year including players on the team. What if Josh gets hurt or we are devastated by injuries next year? What if we don’t have games go our way and we miss playoffs? Etc. I love McD as a coach. But teams that win Super Bowls have coaches that are forward thinkers and think of all these situations prior to being in them so they know exactly what to do. It’s what makes Belichik suck a great coach.
  8. Does Allen last a whole 15 years? When his mobility starts to go he loses his game, I fear. I don’t think he will have as long as a career as some of us think. I say maybe 8 more effective years unless he alters his game to be more of a pocket passer and less of a running threat
  9. I’m glad it was our stupidity that cost us the game and not the referees making some crazy call that was game altering. So there’s that if refs cost us the game, I think I’d be a lot more mad. Like post TB game mad. Right now, I’m just sad and lost. I don’t even wanna watch the rest of the season
  10. Not me. I thought squib it all the way. Although a high short kick was probably the correct answer. Regardless, kicking it out if the end zone was by far the worst option
  11. Boogie is slow. He’s like a poor mans Shaq Lawson IMO. Good against the run. Will get the rare sack when coverage is good. That dude needs to lose some weight
  12. We are not cursed. This was avoidable. McD and Frazier simply called terrible plays from the final kick to the end of regulation. Just stupidity
  13. I’d take that still gives them one play to get on FG range…maybe. They can basically run a 15 yard route
  14. Amen to that. If he got hired I’d be ecstatic. Not so much got him but for the fact we got rid of him and got two 3rd round picks. Addition by subtraction
  15. Next year will be a huge year for him. With most likely Daboll leaving and maybe even Leslie (although I doubt it after tonight’s debacle), it will say a lot what McD can do with new coordinator(s). if he continues to make playoffs and win, I don’t see how you could fire him. He’s a really good coach. He will learn from his mistakes. My only worry is when our window starts to close due to cap limitations. Only way McD gets fired next year is if the team somehow wins only 5 games. That would be a huge failure with massive amounts of talent. I don’t see that happening.
  16. I’d say Micah and Poyer are both playmakers. Tre as well. we just need a pass rusher who is a playmaker.
  17. The stats don’t tell the whole story for the Bills D. Sure we had all the nice to have. But realistically, they were an average unit. Any self-evaluating person could tell that based on how they played all year what helped our defense so much all season was our offense getting big leads forcing the other teams offense out of their game plan and having to make plays to keep up. The bad teams simply couldn’t do it so our defense racked up stats. this defense is nothing close to what the Bears had in ‘08 (I think) or the Steelers of the 2000’s. This defense was simply then by-product of a really good offense that threatened the other team to play out of their capabilities.
  18. Can’t believe they didn’t have one player near the LOS to at least slow them down and not allow a bubble screen to Hill. That and not squibbing it. it sucks because McDermott does learn from mistakes. But he’s not a forward thinker and is never ahead of the curve
  19. No chance in hell that happens. Especially after the Texans fired Culley after one year. No one wants an old retread who gave up a FG in 13 seconds. That series will forever taint Leslie. Maybe McD too unless he wins a SB
  20. Frazier isn’t getting hired after an abysmal performance like that. He was already borderline and now he certainly is not
  21. If you’re josh you gotta be pissed at the defense. What a wasted effort
  22. What’s more embarrassing. Giving a Fg up there at the end or losing to the Patriots only throwing the ball 3 times?
  23. I would rather trust my special teams than the defense after the pathetic showing they had tonight
  24. It better be the first question they ask McD
