  1. An additional item I hate on top of everything else in this situation is Watson now gets to get “revenge” on the Texans. I thought he should be suspended for a year, at least, but 11 games is odd. He shouldn’t have been afforded that opportunity and I wish Goodell took a stand at 12 games minimum.
  2. It doesn’t have to be only a KRTD. It could be a return that puts the other team in great field position (which is a killer if you are in a defensive slugfest or if you are only up by 2 points or less with little time remaining in the game). ST does matter and so does carrying ST specific players. Ask Steve Tasker. Or the Slater from NE. It’s important to have 3-4 ST studs. I hate to say it but St Doug was right in one respect. He said to win a game you need to win 2 of the 3 phases. So he built defense first. Then he started on the ST unit. Execution was poor, but the philosophy is right IMO
  3. Don’t think they will keep crowder shakir and Mackenzie. I think kumerow still makes team based on ST contributions
  4. Dude if you post stuff like this, provide background information like an article. Always assume who you’re posting for (us) has no idea what you’re talking about.
  5. Why did we draft Bernard? He’s a small guy. I figured he was fast and would be good in coverage. But if he can’t cover or really fill gaps because of his size, what’s his purpose?
  6. I hate to see other players showing him love and respect after the game. Kinda gives him an easy pass on all that he’s done when your peers seem to support you and treat you like you’ve done nothing
  7. Ridiculous behavior on display by nearly everyone around that tunnel. I never understood the infatuation with an autograph. It’s just a signature. I would much rather get a picture with a player or have a conversation with them to get insight
  8. My favorite matchup was Wang vs Maybin. Someone on here named it the “stoppable force vs the movable object”. I found that hilarious.
  9. Biden fostered a geopolitical environment where he emboldened Putin to invade Ukraine. I don’t think Ukraine would have been invaded under Trump. on top of that, gas prices were already about 30% more expensive under Biden than under Trump. So yea, Biden does deserve a significant amount of blame
  10. This is very frustrating how expensive everything is. My grocery bill is now at $150 per trip instead of $100, which is for my family. I don’t want to drive at all either because gas is so expensive. So I literally minimize how much I drive a day. I used to do road-trips with the family but now we’ve turned that off. Gas is going to hit $5 on the national average soon. the worst part of it is there is no relief in sight. It’s only going to go up. And the democrats want to talk about going green then provide an available, affordable option. I don’t want to eat into my savings at all either. I just don’t see how Biden won’t take action and open up drilling at home. He’s hurting everyone’s wallets. And I don’t see how democrats could vote for him or democrat policies after this. It’s absurd.
  11. He probably doesn’t have respect for him as a QB which is clearly evident. Same thing for Foles. I’m sure Brady would never do that to Rodgers or Mahomes or even Josh now. I simply believe Brady thinks that Foles and Fitz are not worthy of his respect after a loss.
  12. Well hopefully he’s not a bust like all our other 2nd round draft picks. like the pick
  13. First person I could think of was Beth Mowins.
  14. Who the hell would want to trade for Zack Moss? He can’t be worth anything more than a bag of balls
  15. I think his strength in coverage, or at least what the coaches allude to, is his ability to run down screens and swing passes and prevent them from becoming huge gains. I will admit he is very good at that. now dropping into coverage over the middle of the field it seems like he doesn’t have a good feel. Otherwise, he’d have more pass break-ups and interceptions, IMO
  16. To be honest, I think the Rams D line as a collective earned MVP. Or at least give it to Donald. They kept the Rams in the game while their offense was anemic. it seemed like every drive in the second half burrow was being sacked and it destroyed drives for them. If Bengals scored once I think the Rams lose that game.
  17. I agree. I think the stars aligned for them to make this run. Numerous things just went their way including a terrible call by the refs on the raiders WC game and then no call last night on the Boyd TD. one reason I wasn’t rooting for them is because, IMO, they had no business being in the SB….and Joe seems like an arrogant ahss
  18. Totally agree. It’s amazing no one in the media decided to speak up and stop the hype train. Although I guess they need to do it to make the game more appealing. Bottom line, I see him as a Phillip rivers. Pretty good. But never will be the best QB in the league. Joe just doesn’t have anything elite about him
  19. Burrow is not elite. I was not impressed by anything he did tonight. Not a single throw was elite by him. The touchdown to Boyd was underthrown and took the ref not throwing a flag to be a touchdown. I don’t understand how this guy is being hyped the way he is. He is above average for sure. But he does not even deserve to carry Josh’s or Pat’s jocks
  20. Joe Burrow looked very mediocre tonight. I realize he was under pressure but jeez, he hardly made any plays
  21. Waste of a play. Go for the TD. Good God
  22. There should have been a call on Boyd earlier in the game
  23. I think this may be the last time Rams see the ball.
  24. Matt stafford is not very good. He’s rushing himself unnecessarily
