Next year will be a huge year for him. With most likely Daboll leaving and maybe even Leslie (although I doubt it after tonight’s debacle), it will say a lot what McD can do with new coordinator(s). if he continues to make playoffs and win, I don’t see how you could fire him. He’s a really good coach. He will learn from his mistakes. My only worry is when our window starts to close due to cap limitations. Only way McD gets fired next year is if the team somehow wins only 5 games. That would be a huge failure with massive amounts of talent. I don’t see that happening.

I’d say Micah and Poyer are both playmakers. Tre as well. we just need a pass rusher who is a playmaker.

The stats don’t tell the whole story for the Bills D. Sure we had all the nice to have. But realistically, they were an average unit. Any self-evaluating person could tell that based on how they played all year what helped our defense so much all season was our offense getting big leads forcing the other teams offense out of their game plan and having to make plays to keep up. The bad teams simply couldn’t do it so our defense racked up stats. this defense is nothing close to what the Bears had in ‘08 (I think) or the Steelers of the 2000’s. This defense was simply then by-product of a really good offense that threatened the other team to play out of their capabilities.

Can’t believe they didn’t have one player near the LOS to at least slow them down and not allow a bubble screen to Hill. That and not squibbing it. it sucks because McDermott does learn from mistakes. But he’s not a forward thinker and is never ahead of the curve

No chance in hell that happens. Especially after the Texans fired Culley after one year. No one wants an old retread who gave up a FG in 13 seconds. That series will forever taint Leslie. Maybe McD too unless he wins a SB

Frazier isn’t getting hired after an abysmal performance like that. He was already borderline and now he certainly is not
