I was flying combat missions over Afghanistan from early April to late June in 2021 (I.e. right before the collapse) and you could see the ANA getting whipped and losing ground all over the place. It seemed like every day’s intel update had a new town or province that collapsed. if we could see the collapse, with minimal information, from the Ike, there should be no excuse for the Biden admin not to, having a treasure trove of info at the White House, and is simply incompetence or neglect.

How bad is it for Lesile Frazier?
VaMilBill replied to Marvlevydraftdaygenius's topic in The Stadium Wall
Let’s be honest. The offense put so much pressure on the Patriots offense and forced them out of their game. In reality, that game was the epitome of “the best defense is a good offense.” any team that was worth their salt last year, our defense couldn’t stop. We were bending and breaking -
Several NFL analysts said they would prefer Jimmy G to Josh. They are idiots. Dude can only throw slants and has a Tua arm
-
Well. I’m rooting for the Rams now. Don’t want to hear how Joe B is better than Allen. I think Allen is a tier above Joe. He just had better defensive play which kept them in the game
-
That’s fair. But he also threw a lot of poor passes that were behind the receivers. Essentially waste of downs. We didn’t see that at all last week. Almost everyone of his throws were on the mark
-
Bengals got lucky they got Mahomes on an off day. Whole second half he has looked mediocre. Missing his marks a lot. Wish we got to face this Mahomes last week
-
That’s what I was thinking. But if they don’t score, then the rules won’t change I think.

I can’t even understand the halftime analysis. Good lord someone had an oversight boomer is cracking up at it. Lol
-
Cinci looks like they will get blown out of this game. I predict a 17 point margin of win for the chiefs.
-
I really dislike KC. Not a single player on that team I admire. to be honest, they have a bunch of dirt bags on the team.
-
Totally understand. And like any job, once you gain more experience you feel more comfortable speaking up and being more assertive. Our defense is built on being disciplined and every player being predictable snd doing their job. That’s why our defense never really gives up big plays. on the same point, I’m not proposing freelancing. But I think someone like Jordan or Micah on defense could have stepped up and spoken out after the first play for gain on the last drive. And I think Bass, who’s been a really good kicker could have done the same. I understand it’s a tough position for a player to be in. But I know I’d rather have a thinker on the field instead of a robot (cough cough Tremaine Edmunds).

If you’re a smart football player you would think you would QA with the head coach what he wants. if I were Bass and I wasn’t told to squib it I’d go over to the HC and confirm he wants me to kick it out of the EZ. And if he said no I’d recommend squibbing it anyway. Sometimes players need to think for themselves some too

Shady made people miss a lot. Devin is very average in that department

The interesting thing is after talking to some of my casual NfL fans who are fans of other teams besides the bills are just realizing Josh is an elite QB. He’s been elite for two seasons now. But I gotta say, it kinda shocks me how ignorant people are about josh. For all of us who watch josh week in and week out we can clearly see he’s a arguably a top 3 QB in the nfl at a minimum. He’s a playmaker and above all else, a winner. I don’t think Herbert nor burrow are even in the same class as Josh

Motor is a solid second string level back. But he is not a premier guy. Sure, if he gets opportunities he’s going to put up some solid stats. Problem is he isn’t a home run hitter. He simply doesn’t have the speed to break away (from even LBs) not the ability to make people miss. Simply said, Motor doesn’t scare opposing defenses. I have no doubt we can do better than Motor. Although, he’s great to have as a change of pace back IMO.

I don’t like Joe Burrow. Guy seems like a cocky do&@he. I want the Rams to win SB at this point.

What are the top three worst losses in franchise history?
VaMilBill replied to VaMilBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I will say that I totally agree with you on the ref aspect for the 13 seconds game. I was happy that it wasn’t an external force that cost us the game. It was all on the Bills which makes it just as hard to swallow, but I’m not angry about it How did he abuse the rules? I never saw the full game, just highlights -
What are the top three worst losses in franchise history?

BBFS. People say it should be gone after the last few years, but it will always exist in the back of our minds whether we like it or not. totally agree with you -
I wanted to take a survey of all you Bills fans to get an idea of what was the top three worst losses in franchise history for you as a fan. When I say worst, i mean it should take into account all factors including how painful, how unexpected, how consequential, etc. the loss was. I wanted to canvass and get a baseline for how painful this past loss was in terms of Bills misery. for me, I’m 30 years old so I didn’t really become a bills fan until the Losman years. I know about the 89 loss to the browns in the playoffs as well as wide right and music city miracle. In my opinion, since I’ve been a fan, the worst losses have been: 1) 2022, Bills vs Chiefs loss in divisional round of the playoffs. We all know what was on the line. Win, and we had a good shot to win the SB. Not only that, but we protect the legacy of the 90’s Bills by ensuring KC doesn’t get to another SB and threaten 4 in a row. If KC gets 4, then it is more impressive because of the SB win they have. In addition, the way we lost was absurd and really will leave a taint on this franchise and team for at least the next 5 years, minimum. 2) 2007: Bills lose to Dallas 25-24. Bills were huge underdogs in this game. It was the first MNF game Buffalo was hosting since 1994. Dallas was playing lights out all season. None of us expected the Bills to win. The defense and ST played lights out, Trent was meh, and we found ourselves in great position near the end. Then we snatched defeat from the jaws of victory and Dallas recovered an onside kick and Nick Folk kicks the winner. I’ve always despised Nick Folk since then. 3) 2009. Bills lose to Patriots on MNF 25-24. This one stung because again, Bills were big dogs. Tom Brady was still fresh off of his torn ACL recovery and a lot of us was hoping he would never be the same. Bills had been rocking all night. Aaron Schobel had the pick six. Defense had two 4th down stuffs. Then McKelvin, inexplicably returns the ball out of the end zone and fumbles. Couple of plays later Patriots score and we lose. Painful. honorable mention is the Pittsburgh loss where Stevie blamed God. That sucked because Pittsburgh was so good and we sucked. But Fitz was beginning to earn our love. Curious to hear what the old timers think.

Sullivan: Bills' McDermott choked away Super Bowl-caliber season
VaMilBill replied to QCity's topic in The Stadium Wall
One of the worst things too, is the Chiefs are about to go to 3 straight Super Bowls, having won at least one of them, obviously threatening the Bills record of 4 in a row. We had a chance to not only go but to protect the legacy of pats Bills teams and we couldn’t do it in regards to McD making numerous monumental mistakes in the last 13 seconds, he always learns from mistakes. Problem is, we may never be in this position again. Things obviously change year to year including players on the team. What if Josh gets hurt or we are devastated by injuries next year? What if we don’t have games go our way and we miss playoffs? Etc. I love McD as a coach. But teams that win Super Bowls have coaches that are forward thinkers and think of all these situations prior to being in them so they know exactly what to do. It’s what makes Belichik suck a great coach. -

Does Allen last a whole 15 years? When his mobility starts to go he loses his game, I fear. I don’t think he will have as long as a career as some of us think. I say maybe 8 more effective years unless he alters his game to be more of a pocket passer and less of a running threat -
Only ways this loss would have hurt more...
VaMilBill replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m glad it was our stupidity that cost us the game and not the referees making some crazy call that was game altering. So there’s that if refs cost us the game, I think I’d be a lot more mad. Like post TB game mad. Right now, I’m just sad and lost. I don’t even wanna watch the rest of the season -
Boogie is slow. He’s like a poor mans Shaq Lawson IMO. Good against the run. Will get the rare sack when coverage is good. That dude needs to lose some weight
