    Cap set to rise, if thats what youre worried about. Also, its not like Whaley and Brandon cant negotiate with more than one person at a time. I dont exactly get this imaginary conflict here, but if it makes you happy, we could waste stupid money on a career back up this year, or waste a pick on terrible one. Otherwise we could extend Dareus and we'd be all good...

    I think most rumors are that they cut him to make space for powell and to save cap space. This doesnt make sense: by signing Powell, they lose any money saved by cutting him... No point in wasting perfectly good talent and a true team athlete to not save space and get a worse player. Powell isnt as good as an 80 year old Fred Action Jackson, let alone a 34 year old one

    I'd offer a ham sandwich and some of the change i found in my jeans pocket for him. Dang, now I wish we had kept Keith Rivers, we could've got this trade done already. Living in the bay area, I've closely followed his career from the start. He is fast, but no more than a trick pony in my eyes and very arrogant. We dont need that.

    Because teams sometimes make bad decisions... after the 99 season (or was it 2000?) they had to cut a bunch of legends to fit under the cap. Then a few years later, Sam Adams was a cap casualty.

    Lol. There you go. Talking about cap is IMPORTANT! Handling it poorly is why we have to talk about affordability. I'm sure the fins know that Suh will fit, but they'll need to make tons of cuts in order to make it work, or their situation will be handled poorly...

    They dont have to extend him. He got a 4 year extension last season. That means, by the time that contract is up, he'd be 37... At that point, no, they shouldnt extend him. The question is if they cut him.
