  1. Then they better be able to bring Stew Barber out of retirement...
  2. I will learn to spell it if he's good. Joe D on getting into Canton: "I guess the voters finally learned how to spell my name."
  3. TJ Graham back in vogue? yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah, how about no.
  4. Bold... Ok, I'll out do ya. Fred Jackson will rush for 1330 yards and have 800 yards receiving. Disclaimer: I'm not crazy, I dont actually believe this, but it's possible.
  5. Dareus's absence is troubling for me because I dont think Father Time has caught up to Frank Gore yet, and we all saw how poorly the defense fared against the Raiders last year when Mr. Big Stuff was out of the lineup. They were atrocious against both the pass and the rush late in the game because they lacked the additional person in the rotation, wearing them out; not to mention the additional talent in the rotation. That said, Luck is a pick 6 machine, so our defense will have opportunities to take advantage of him.
  6. Dont ever mention his name again... (ah what could have been, with R.Wilson and TY Hilton, etc, still on the board).
  7. Eh, playoffs or bust. I dont care how far we go, 15 years is too long of a wait. I also have confidence Dareus will be back, but if he isnt, and EJ is only a borderline Franchise QB, and our defense suffers as a result of Dareus' departure to the extent that it did during the Raiders game when he was injured, we might be back to square one with a pretty decent or mediocre offense and a terrible defense that cant stop the run (see: the chan gailey era). Plus if we do make the playoffs, other players might be more willing to play for us, and QBs entering FA might want to join a team that is more proven (see: Andrew Luck, Russell Wilson)... Unless the OP is talking about a metoric rise for EJ, the bills basically will have the Fitzpatrick years again.
  8. Exactly, its basically a "participant" banner.
  9. YPRR didnt account for the fact that Watkins wasnt targeted much on the slant. Either he wasnt open often enough or Orton didnt want to through it over the middle. He did have a fairly good YPT (Yards per target) stat though I think on that route. My local community college probably ran a better offense than Marrone did last year.
  10. Nay! It's kinda sad and desperate. Especially considering they got blown out so badly. Its not the worst thing a sports team has hung in their stadium, but it I wouldnt want the Bills hanging banners like that even if they do make the playoffs.
  11. His stats are gonna look atrocious: he's only played in one full game! Any well thought out analysis should account for sample size. Whether or not the lack of sample size is a knock on T-Mobile is a different argument entirely...
  12. While i do want us to have a francise QB, this year might be the last year we get dareus. we are a "win now" team. we need to make the playoffs this year. Unless the second option entails that EJ becomes the next Peyton Manning, I think the first option is the only way to go.
  13. Odell is good, but seriously? Gronk is way better/more proven
  14. Yet they have resigned Spikes yet. SMH
  15. Hogan has talent. The Flash has speed. I suspect that Harvin shifts over Goodwin, but IDK, Rex likes fast receivers from what I can tell...
  16. Can he play tight end? From what I've seen, he's got great hands.
  17. I remember week 17 in Foxboro. 15 yard sack was the highlight for me.
  18. Sacks are probably weighted more than QB hits though. The reason being that QB hits implies the oline held on for about 0.5 sec longer than an oline that gave up a sack.
  19. I've watched him since he entered the NFL and I think he's pretty good. He'd be a great addition to the bills. Kinda fits in with rex's style.
  20. or, WE COULD HAVE DRAFTED HIM!!! Frickin TJ Graham Cracker
  21. As much as I hate the pats*, this isnt exactly "proof." This is a demonstration that somewhere down the line, they got really good at protecting the football. I'm sure they've been deflating balls occasionally for some time now, but you cant just point to astronomically good stats as proof they must be cheating the entire time. Just sayin. On the other hand, those text messages are pretty damning.
  22. Disappointing, but we shouldnt get too hung up about it because he probably shouldve been drafted in the first round, and so we wouldnt have gotten him anyway without all those rumors of his potential involvement in a murder. And anyway, I'm not too worried. It could turn out that he is guilty, and I dont want my team to be the one with pie in its face when that happens. To be clear: I dont think he's guilty, but murder investigations are often complicated, and honestly its just as safe to not have taken a risk. On a side note: Dallas seems to be taking in a lot of semi-shady characters recently. With Hardy being suspended for 10 games and all...
  23. Lol, they all are forced to use Bing in Seattle...
