  1. Yikes. Well I hope EJ can pull it off. At least there havent been reports of an MCL tear because that would be bad. I'm hoping for just a sore knee. I dont want him to become another RG3 (or EJ Manuel circa 2014)... Also, I'm hoping the fact that he still looked explosive to some degree at the end of the game is an indication that he's alright. If anything, we gotta just hope that this is a cautionary move on the part of Rex.
  2. Hmm. I did not know that, thanks! Do you know if one of our RBs is a good PR?
  3. Honest question: Is it really hard to learn how to return punts? I figured most RBs/WRs already had the necessary skill sets to be half decent at it.
  4. Tyrod makes this team a "good" team. I've noticed a trend that no matter what we fight to get back into games. In the past if we're down by 2 score with 10min or less left in the game, there's no way we're coming back. This year has been different. Even in the Giants game we had a chance. Tyrod's worst game? 28 for 42 and 274 yards 1 TD and 1 INT. Passer Rating: 82.8 EJ's Worst game: 18 for 33 and 184 yards 0 TD and 4 INT Passer Rating: 31.2
  5. Well. Its been one game but I am inclined to agree with you. Moore looks like McKelvin 2.0. Hopefully he steps it up. Tbh no idea why we signed him. I mean we already have 20 other WRs that could be competent return men. Goodwin for example. Hell, I wouldnt mind if they stuck Dez Lewis back there.
  6. We actually do. All these crazy fans are making our team distracted at home lol
  7. I know, I know, we've only played 5 games and our 2 road games have been easy, but despite the small sample size some clear trends have seemingly developed: Home Record: 1-2 Road Record: 2-0 (like I said, we played 2 weak teams, but still) Home Points scored per game: 23 Road Points scored per game: 27.5 Home Penalties per game: 14.0 Road Penalties per game: 6.0 Like I said there is an obvious flaw based on sample size, but I cant help but think that all these statistics point to something about our team so far. I could list so many more statistical differences, but I'm lazy and unless I'm told otherwise I think these are kinda sorta sufficient to prove my point. The penalties in particular seem to show how our emotions might get in our way at home (twice as many home penalties are road penalties per game) and how possibly hype can be distracting for us. Seems so counterintuitive based on how awesome our fans our (usually teams like the Seahawks draw on their fans emotions) but based on how are team is built maybe that gets in our way. Maybe we can turn that around, but for now thats my gut reaction. Thoughts? I've been wrong before.
  8. But I thought it took years to develop a rookie corner into a starter....
  9. TBH none of us know what he got. So none of us should be worried as of now.
  10. That and veteran guidance for Tyrod/EJ. Well conidering we cut him before we traded him, we basically get those picks for free.
  11. We'll be fine. Just because we traded our backup QB (who we basically cut to begin with) doesnt mean the sky is falling. Doug wouldnt have shopped him if he thought we really needed him.
  12. Why not? Then cut EJ and get a 4th kicker just for onside kick attempts.
  13. Tebow is available
  14. The pats started actively trying to stop the run. And also we were down by like a hundred points pretty early. Ground and pound doesn't work when you need to score lots of points in little time.
  15. While I know that our defense was the worst part of the team yesterday, the oline didn't look to hot either (8 sacks and poor showing on passing downs, also breakdowns on some rushing plays later on in the half). I also realize that the pats********* were showing up with 8 man fronts after the first few drives but honestly their play was atrocious anyway. If I'm not mistaken kromer is suspended for another 4 games, but I'm wondering if anyone thinks his presence in games could make this unit look as good as it did during the preseason. Hopefully so. Go Bills!
  16. Sounds fair to me. Also they should suspend our oline for the season...
  17. Yeah I hate the new rule it's stupid. We pretty much lost the game on failed PATs (sort of. If we made some of the 2 Pts and the regular one, it would've been a lot closer)
  18. Rex has a lot more things to worry about than our 3rd string safety. Like his gameplan for starters.
  19. This is crazy talk. Look at the stats. Something like 20% of PATs have been missed this far in this season. Carpenter is about average.
  20. Exactly. Romans scheme is designed for QBs like Brady and Manning in height and awareness. The drop off in height from kaepernick to tyrod is a massive thing for Roman to adjust to and he needs to do it fast. Unfortunately the QB competition didn't give him much time to do it in the offseason.
  21. I noticed the same thing. As a blocking TE, I should never hear his name being mentioned, but instead it always seems to crop up in bad situations...
  22. Calm down. This game was a reality check. All good teams have them. I'd rather be humbled and brought back down to earth now than in the playoffs and I hope that after this game we don't play off of hype but rather we play with a chip on our shoulders. Now we again have to prove our selves and I think that will make our team play harder than it did. Also this week should give Rex time to make those halftime adjustments that he forgot to make last week...
  23. No words. RIP
  24. Get out! Terrible idea after what happened with Fitz.
